To make your own, paint wood slices with chalkboard paint. Once the paint is dry, use hot glue to secure felt wool pom-poms to the wood slices and then embellish with burlap, buttons and felt to create your desired design. You can also use a chalk marker to draw other elements (snowflakes, names, date) onto the wood slices. To finish your DIY ornaments, glue a baker's twine hanger to the back of each wood slice.
