We have to admit, growing up, purple was one of our favorite colors and we always secretly wished we had incorporated it a bit more into our wedding. But, lucky for us, we had the chance to style this beautiful Plum Wedding Tablescape and make some of our wedding wishes come true! We loved the mix of a deep, regal plum alongside a lighter, airier lavender with pops of gold to set the tone for this elegant yet ethereal wedding!
The Table: The table was set with a deep, purple table linen and we then added a table runner made from the Lilac Gossamer Roll and a beautiful mix of real and faux flowers. This set the tone for the gorgeous color palette the wedding was inspired by. We displayed three gorgeous Gold Trim Open Top Terrariums (do not use open flame candles with this product) filled with florals and votive candles and two Gold Mercury Candle Holders to serve as the main decor.
And what would a plum wedding be without some fresh plums? We showcased the delicious fruit in 2 gold-based serving dishes with a few sprigs of purple Statice to add in a bit of color and texture.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting began with a gorgeous Gold Charger, and was then topped with a White Elegant Dinner Plate and White Dessert Plate with Gold Edging. A lovely Purple & Lilac Wedding Pull Favor Box completed the elegant setting while Metallic Gold Cutlery added a luxe look for less!
A champagne toast was served in Cylinder Champagne Flutes and our Plum Prosecco Cocktail was served in Clear Stemless Plastic Wine Glasses and was the hit of the evening! The Thyme infused simple syrup added to the cocktail was absolutely delicious!
The Backdrop: One of our favorite details was our DIY Floral Hoop Backdrop! We simply covered a few rings from the Obstacle Course Ring Set in Boxwood Garlands, Faux Wisteria Florals and a variety of purple flowers and hung them from a Backdrop Stand. It created the perfect backdrop for our wedding table!
The Details: We always love adding a personalized touch to our events, no matter how big or small; just like these DIY Monogram Bouquet Charms. This project took only a few minutes to make and added such a special detail to the bride's bouquet!
