Cool off this summer with a big glass of ice cold, freshly squeezed lemonade! Setting up your own lemonade stand midsummer is a childhood right of passage and this boldly colored lemonade first birthday party captures the spirit of summer perfectly! With plenty of mouth puckering lemon details, a DIY Lemonade Stand and loads of pink and yellow details, this sweet and sour party will have you wishing you were a kid again!
The Table:
To create a Pink Lemonade Party perfect for a special first birthday, the party table must set the scene!
The table was dressed in a soft pink linen topped with a lemonade themed table runner for a bright and colorful themed detail.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting had to be fun, youthful and creative so a candy pink paper plate was layered with a pink lemonade dinner plate and a lemon shaped dessert plate.
Each place setting sat upon a polka dot gift bag for guests to use to bring home extra sweets after the party.
An adorable lemon squeezer sat upon the lemon dessert plate for a cute extra lemon detail for guests to play with at their seats. This simple touch added such a fun detail to each setting.
Alongside each place setting sat a coordinating Pink Lemonade napkins topped with bright yellow forks and spoons to really stand out and coordinate with the dessert plates. We also displayed brightly colored lemon clappers for guests to play with.
Guests, of course, sipped on freshly squeezed lemonade in lemonade themed cups with lids and plastic straws. Our tiny guests enjoyed bringing home these cups to enjoy over and over again!
The sweetest detail of these darling cups was the pinwheel style straw! These straws looked so cute popping from the center of the lid of each cup and the best part is that the pinwheels actually work, so each child loved playing with their cups!
The Favors:
We wanted to create custom favor boxes for our guests to bring home extra sweets and treats. A yellow favor box was trimmed with pink lemon cut outs from the hand fans for a sweet and simple look.
The Centerpiece:
Pink lemonade of course calls for the cutest miniature lemonade stand ever! This miniature lemonade stand is quick and easy to assemble and we served up pink lemonade frosted cupcakes complete with lemon wedges, lemon sprinkles and striped paper straws!
It looked adorable in the center of the table and our guests loved being able to grab the cupcakes for themselves! Each lemonade flavored cupcake was topped with lemonade whipped icing, a sugared lemon wedge and a darling polka dot straw.
On each side of the miniature lemonade stand were simple flower arrangements crafted with mason jars, lemon squeezers and fresh florals.
The Dessert Table:
Our dessert table was dressed in a soft yellow tablecloth and a coordinating pink lemonade table runner was draped across the top.
The backdrop was a simple diy that we whipped up yellow paper roll, pink honeycomb balls and some pink lemon slices.
The shining star of our dessert table was the smash cake for the baby to enjoy on her very first birthday! You can pick up a store bought cake and add the details yourself!
Other Sweets and Treats:
Yellow and pink swirl pops were displayed in lollipops stands on each end of the dessert buffet. The colors perfectly coordinated with our designs!
Petite lemon custard cups were displayed on candy pink chevron snack cups and had decorated yellow spoons. Each spoon had a pinwheel detail to coordinate with our cups and straws.
More custard cups flanked the cake and had spoons displaying Free Printable Spoon Flags for a sweet touch.
Berry baskets displayed bright yellow squeeze toys for the kids to grab and play with.
DIY Lemonade Bar:
We can never choose between a classic glass of tangy lemonade or a bright pink alternative. With our DIY Lemonade Bar, your guests don't have to choose!
This adorable Lemonade Stand displayed two different varieties of lemonade in glass beverage dispensers; classic and pink lemonade!
Each beverage dispenser had a custom made sign letting guests know what options there were to choose from.
Wood slat signs were decorated with napkins and lemon cut outs and strung over each dispenser.
Suspended from the front of the stand was a DIY Wooden Pennant Banner made from twine, ribbon, paint, favor bags and wooden pennants. This added such a sweet detail!
Mason jars displayed candies for guests to add to their very own custom cup of lemonade!
One Extra Sweet Treat:
We wanted guests to enjoy another cup of lemonade at home so we sent them off with one last delicious favor, a DIY Lemonade Favor full of lemonade mix, a pinwheel straw, some yummy pink shimmer candies and a pink candy stir stick!
