Pineapple Mini Eraser Graphing Activity

Pineapple Mini Eraser Graphing Activity

If you're looking for a sweet way for students to practice their graphing skills, then you will love this Pineapple Mini Eraser Graphing Activity! Mini erasers are a wonderful tool to use in a variety of ways in the classroom, but one of my favorite ways to use them is in math. Your students will have fun sorting the pineapples by color, graphing their results, and then analyzing the data! Be sure to download the Free Pineapple Graphing Printable here too!

To prepare this activity, I put a different amount of Pineapple Mini Erasers into each of these fun Pineapple Easter Eggs! Aren't they adorable? I then put the filled eggs into a bowl.

Before the activity, download the free pineapple graph here and print enough copies for your class. I'm always amazed at the power of introducing new pencils to kids! This is why I like using themed pencils whenever I can. It truly is the simplest things in life, like using these Pineapple Pencils with Eraser Toppers, that get students extra excited about an activity! And if you let them keep the pencil afterwards to use you will undoubtedly be the "best teacher ever."

Students will each pick one pineapple egg out of the bowl to use. They will take the mini erasers out of their egg and lay them onto their graph. Since each egg will have a different amount of erasers and colors it's a great way to assess how your students are individually doing with this skill. pineapple-mini-eraser-graphing-activity-content-3

Students will then represent their data by coloring in the graph and recording which color pineapple they had the most and least of in their egg.
