As tradition says, you should always incorporate something blue into your wedding and a periwinkle color palette is just the way to do it! We styled this romantic periwinkle and blush wedding tablescape using some fabulous products and couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome! The mix of lush periwinkle and soft, pink tones with hints of silver, created an elegant sense of romance that was the perfect setting for celebrating this special day!
The Table: When creating this tablescape, we wanted both periwinkle and blush to be accent colors on a clean White Tablecloth. This would allow the two colors to really shine without overwhelming the table. The Place setting: We loved the shape of the Silvertone Scalloped Square Plastic Chargers and knew that when painted a beautiful periwinkle color they would make the perfect base for our place settings. We then layered a White Elegance Plastic Dinner Plates and a White Premium Plastic Dessert Plate with Rose Gold Edging on top of the painted charger.
We added in one of our DIY Watercolor Napkins that we had originally made for our Mint & Peach Wedding to add a pop of pink to the setting. We love the way it looks against the white and periwinkle plates.
We topped the setting with these gorgeous Clear Hobnail Glass Votives. We filled them with our scrumptious, Homemade Black Raspberry Ice Cream and an adorable Clear Mini Appetizer Plastic Spoon. Trust us, you are going to want to check out this recipe and make it immediately. It is beyond simple to make and absolutely delicious.
We completed the setting with a Clear Patterned Plastic Wine Glass and silver cutlery.
The Centerpiece: We fell in love with these Octagon-Shaped Mirrors and knew we wanted to incorporate them into our tablescape somehow, and that's when the idea to create our DIY Table Number Centerpiece came about! This DIY took less than 10 minutes and added a beautiful detail to the table. We used one of the fabulous Monogram Stencils to make a floral detail on the mirror using a Bistro Chalk Marker and then added a Garden Party Table Number and a few fake flowers to create the perfect centerpiece! We love how the colors of the floral table number card picked up on the periwinkle and pink tones throughout the rest of our tablescape!
The Decor: Another favorite piece of decor were these Clear Bullet Glass Bud Vases. They were the main subject of our DIY Tinted Vases! Make sure to follow our tutorial to see how a bit of Mod Podge and food coloring can create this lovely, tinted a piece of decor. We filled the bud vases with fresh, blue hydrangea which was the perfect complement to our color palette! We also incorporated fresh flowers in Hurricane Vases, Silver-Flecked Mercury Votive Holders and then placed White Taper Candles in Clear Round Taper Candle Holders to add to the romance of the table!
