Every true romantic knows that Paris is the city of love. From the delicious French cuisine to the stunning lights, Paris truly is where love blooms. The enchanting charm of this gorgeous city inspired this love infused bridal shower, from the classic imagery of the Eiffel Tower to the glamorous pink and black decor and croquembouche style dessert. You can easily recreate this chic and sophisticated shower for the sleek and modern bride in your life with a few simple supplies, our DIY ideas and our decadent dessert recipe.
For this exquisitely posh Paris themed bridal shower we wanted to create an upscale and regal feel to our tablescape. When planning an event that requires a luxe look, you can easily achieve a level of grandeur by layering! We simply love layering...from plates, to linens to decor! We started out by layering a blush pink table linen with the Black & White Striped Gossamer Roll, which served as a sleek table runner. 
Our centerpiece was inspired by gorgeous black bird cages. We added a sophisticated look by filling the large Black Bird Cage in our centerpiece with fresh florals keeping to our color palette. 
A sleek Light Pink Single Faced Satin Ribbon Roll adorned the top of the birdcage and secured additional fresh florals in place for an added romantic detail. We paired our chic birdcage centerpiece with vintage pink milk glass pieces and filled them with more fresh flowers that billowed over onto our Black & White Striped Gossamer Roll table runner. 
A few Mini Black Bird Cages and Silver-Flecked Mercury Votive Holders were placed intermittently throughout the centerpiece for a pop of contrast against the pink milk glass and fresh florals. 
For this opulent theme, the place settings have to be as elegant as the centerpiece. We layered Silvertone Scalloped Square Chargers with White Elegance Dinner Plates for a clean and modern look. On each place setting, we folded linen Black Luncheon Napkins into a sleek bow fold and secured its shape with Black and White Striped Satin Ribbon. Black Mini Place Card Photo Frames displayed glittered "amour" signs at each setting for a romantic element. We made these using coordinating paper from a Pastel Paper Pack. 
To pull in the bird cage detailing to each individual place setting, we created DIY Mini Bird Cage Place Card Holders that we filled with fresh blooms, added a ribbon detail and a personalized place card to. You can find the full details on how to make this DIY at home here. 
Being French in origin, champagne was the natural choice of beverage to serve at this shower. Champagne was displayed in Cylinder Champagne Flutes with Black Striped Paper Straws. A Black and White Striped Satin Ribbon bow added a striking detail to each glass. 
For our delectable dessert buffet, we created a custom backdrop using the Black & White Striped Gossamer Roll.

The Eiffel Tower is the most widely recognized landmark in Paris, so we naturally had to honor it! Chic Eiffel Tower Centerpieces flanked our luscious Croquembouche Inspired Donut Tree. 
Croquembouche is an elegant pastry tower dessert. We wanted to create the same feel without hiring a pastry chef! This donut tree pays homage to the amazing classic French pastry.
