My daughter is learning the French language in school. We thought it would be so fun to have a "Parisian" Bakeshop for her 6th birthday. We loved all of the pink and black decor, and the fun DIY projects that made the party so cute! Here's the breakdown as well as the items you need to pull of this Parisian Bakeshop Party.
Parisian Bakeshop Party Decor We had fun with black and pops of pink at the party. Here are some of our favorite things we added to our party tablescape display. And Eiffel Tower Centerpiece, Perfectly Paris Hanging Fans (these make it!), tissue paper flowers, cake stands and of course cupcakes using Perfectly Paris cupcake liners and toppers. Instead of hanging the paper fans, we opened them up and laid them down on their side as our back drop. They look so pretty layered, with the colors and patterns together.
Parisian Party Paper Goods This Perfectly Paris Party Kit was just what we needed for paper goods for the Parisian Bakeshop. It included large and small napkins, large and small plates and cups...and tied perfectly into our pink and black color scheme.
DIY Mini Cake Stands This was such a fun craft. Each little party guest received their own mini cake stand and small 7" cake. All you need are 3 items to make these cute stands: clear candlestick holders, clear plastic salad plates, and E6000 glue. You can read all about the fun cake stand details HERE.
Name Pennant Banner Topper Using the Pennant Flag Paper Ribbon, we add a personal touch with each child's name. They loved this! It was an easy craft and you can find more details HERE.
The girls also loved dressing up for the bakeshop. They loved wearing their hot pink kid apron. I added an Eiffel tower with iron on vinyl...and ribbon at the bottom. It was a fun touch to personalize each apron. And the best part was seeing the little ladies with their sparkly Perfectly Paris Berets!
Bakeshop Cake and Cupcakes To save time...I used a box cake mix for the mini cakes and cupcakes. BUT...I made my own buttercream frosting. It takes the cake! It is so easy to make. Sharing the recipe HERE.
To add a pretty touch, we added each plate and cake stand on top of a silver charger plate. It fancied it up a bit. The girls loved decorating their own mini cake with sprinkles and pink chocolate candies.
I made mini cake name tags for each place setting.
Cupcake Box Kid Craft Every kid party needs a craft! We decorated mini cupcake boxes for the kid craft at the Parisian Bakeshop Party. The girls loved adding cute cupcake foam stickers to their box and a pretty black and white bow. We added a cupcake inside for a sweet treat to take home.
Such an adorable, fun party! My little one loved every minute of her Parisian Bakeshop party and I'm so happy I could share it with you. And don't forget to check out my, DIY Mini Cake Stands, Best Buttercream Frosting, and Adorable Cupcake Box Kid Craft. .
