As a designer, every year I'm excited to see what color Pantone will announce as its color of the year. Do you love a clean, elegant wedding and want to incorporate the Pantone Color of the Year into your wedding decor? Check out this stunning Pantone Greenery Head Table. I created a series of Pantone Color of the Year Wedding Ideas including the DIY Greenery Centerpieces and DIY Greenery Chandelier featured in this head table. A wedding without flowers and only greenery? Oh yes, I was up to the challenge!
Set The Scene: When you think of designing a table featuring a color, your first thought may be to go overboard with that color from the linen to the decorations. Instead, I went with a fresh, modern design with a bright white color palette featuring pops of the Pantone Greenery.

Oriental Trading has lots of Pantone Greenery Wedding decorations like Boxwood Garland, Grass Balls, Boxwood Décor Balls and Faux Succulent Picks. They are all faux plants which makes them a DIY Bride's dream as you don't have to be a florist to decorate with these!
The Head Table: I love designing wedding head tables! This is one table that usually seats the Bride, Groom and bridal and groom party. I love it because since it's one table, you can splurge on that table and really make a wow-factor in the room. The table usually faces into the wedding so instead of placing these Mr. & Mrs. Chair Signs on the backs of the chairs where no one can see them, I decided to hang them on the front of the table in front of the bride and groom's place setting. If space is an issue to create one long table, then opt to do a smaller version that seats the Bride, Groom, Maid of Honor and Best Man.
Add leaf picks to the Mr. & Mrs. Chair Signs and line the front of the table with Boxwood Garland to bring a pop of green to the front of the table.
The Place Settings: To keep the place settings nice and bright, I layered Green Scalloped Edge Dinner Plates on top of Silvertone Scalloped Square Chargers. Create a signature "Greenery" Champagne by adding a drop of green food coloring to the champagne before serving it. I decorated these Cylinder Champagne Flutes with leaf picks as an added detail. Aren't they cute?
DIY Greenery Centerpieces: On a head table, be sure to place your table centerpieces on the edge of the table to allow room for your place settings. These stunning DIY Pantone Greenery Centerpieces provide a fabulous pop of Pantone Greenery to the table design.
Wow-Factor Backdrop & DIY Greenery Chandelier: Don't forget to decorate the space behind the head table. A White Floral Sheeting Backdrop is perfect to give the table a fresh modern look and provides a fabulous backdrop for the DIY Greenery Chandelier (see how to make it HERE). Finish by hanging some Boxwood Garland from either side of the backdrop and along the front of the table. Gorgeous!
