Paint Chip Classroom Decor

Paint Chip Classroom Decor

I’m not going to lie, I was super excited to do this room! I’m a little partial to bright colors…everything about a rainbow palette just makes me happy! There were so many products to choose from and I could not wait to put it all together! I knew that this room would be fabulous! Create this look with the Paint Chip Collection.

Paint Chip Classroom The hardest part about this room...trying to decide what color bulletin board paper to use, since this collection literally goes with everything! Ultimately, I decided to use Bright Blue paper (but, it was a tough choice). I wanted the blue to feel like sky. I thought this would be the perfect choice to accompany a rainbow looking room! Yellow was my second choice (I wanted it to feel bright and happy), but compromised with my yellow border throughout the space. Lastly, I added the colorful paint chip border as an accent to my yellow and blue color combo. I love how it turned out! Paint Chip Classroom Here is another view of the room... Did you know that we carry caddies, book baskets, and different sized bins to help organize your classroom? I was so surprised when I went to the website and found so much to choose from! I ended up using mutliple colors to go with my theme. You really don't have to worry about matching with this collection because everything works! Paint Chip Classroom Adding colorful lanterns to coordinate with the Paint Chip classroom theme was like putting the cherry on top! The room was already adorable, but when we added the lanterns at the end, it made the room just POP! Paint Chip Table Canvas I love so many things about this classroom, especially this table! It is so much fun and so creative! I've always labeled my tables for easy classroom management, but this is over-the-top cute! This canvas was actually very simple to make and ties the room theme together perfectly! See my how to make these colorful DIY table numbers HERE. Paint Chip Classroom Theme Here are a few more pictures of the tables. I used paint cans and paint chip circles to decorate each table. Can you imagine your students walking in on the first day and finding their seat?!? This is a super creative way to display supplies while also keeping with the Paint Chip theme! Paint Chip Classroom This collection comes with several coordinating products, including the labels on the paint cans. Did you happen to see the round stickers on top of the cans? I love this cute little accent! Paint Chip Garland Here is another application with the paint chip circles! We used a sewing machine to make a ton of this stunning garland! Drape it over whiteboards, your desk, along windows, or any place in your classroom to give it a touch of whimsy! I love how something so simple can make such an impact. This is just another way you can bring color throughout your room! See my how to make this paint chip garland HERE. Paint Chip Classroom Pre-made gallery frames are the perfect classroom accent. Not only are they functional, but they bring a POP of color into your space! Children love to see their work or their self portraints displayed throughout the room! This is a must-have for your classroom or hallway. I plan to use these in my own classroom this Fall! I added a coordinating piece of construction paper to the back of each frame to give the wall dramatic blocks of color AND this was a great way to turn an awkward space into a classroom focal point. Paint Chip Classroom Here's another close up of the gallery wall... The Paint Chip Collection also comes with these cute paint chip butterflies. This is a great activity to do with your students! We placed the butterflies strategically across the whiteboard to make it look like butterflies are flying across the wall. Again, if you have an area in your classroom that you're not sure what to do with, have your students create their own butterflies for this adorable application! Paint Chip Posters These posters! Ahhhhh! LOVE them! To make more of an impact, try grouping your posters together as opposed to scattering them around the room. I mounted each poster on a bright piece of poster board. Adding some color behind the poster gives it a little more detail and presence in your space. Take a peek at the curtain on the right! Isn't that cute?!? Don't feel like you need to run out and buy fabric for your classroom...you can use bulletin board paper instead! This is so much more dramatic than your typical fabric valance. We added a piece of coordinating border and used the paint chip circles to create a little scalloped embellishment at the bottom. Paint Chip Classroom You can see the curtains off in the distance. I love how this coordinates perfectly in the room! See my how to make these paint chip curtains HERE. Paint Chip Classroom Teacher DeskPaint Chip Classroom Paint Chip Classroom Teacher Desk I embellished the teacher desk with the coordinating paint chip border. We also used the bulletin board paper to cover up the boring, beige teacher desk...it looks so much better! I draped the paint chip garland on the front...this is one of my favorite applications...and TADA!!! Now your desk looks as happy and playful as the rest of your classroom! Paint Chip Flowers Paint chips in several different colors were created to coordinate with this collection. We used them to make these pretty flowers for your classroom, hallway, or door! See my how to make these paint chip flowers HERE. Paint Chip Flowers Paint Chip Collection This alphabet rug has a coordinating border and colorful letters that matches this collection perfectly! Paint Chip Collection Paint Chip Collection "Playful" and "Happy" are a couple words that come to mind when I describe this room. Can you imagine how your students would feel walking in each day? When so many children deal with difficult issues and situations when they go home, coming to this classroom each day would be an absolute joy...their "happy place." Creating an environment where your students are excited about coming to school is easy with the Paint Chip Classroom Theme! Happy Decorating!
