Under the Sea Playdate Ideas

Under the Sea Playdate Ideas

Stay cool this summer with our “Under The Sea”  playdate ideas! To get the most out of my kids playdates, I’ve been finding affordable ways to keep the kids busy and the parents happy. Whether you have a built in pool or are like us, buy one of those above ground pools every summer, these under the sea playdate ideas will provide a world of fun! Stay cool in the pool and play with our adorable sea creature water guns and inflatable sea animals.

When it’s time to dry off, grab some shades and create an under the sea sticker scene while we wait for lunch! After lunch kids can create their very own paper plate sea creatures with this bright and beautiful Crayola neon paint and our dip and dotter paint sponges. When it’s time to say goodbye, send your friends with a parting gift, homemade watermelon sea glass! Be sure to check-out even more of our fun and imaginative playdate ideas to spark your kids’ imagination.

There are so many uses for plain white paper plates, including making paper plate sea creatures! Have the kids make some tropical fish, crabs and great white sharks. The neon Crayola paint and dip and dotter paint sponges help your sea creatures come to life. Add a couple googly eyes and there you have it, adorable paper plate sea animals.

Have you ever made candy sea glass? Not only is it beautiful, it’s super yummy to eat! We made some for our “Under The Sea” playdate and the kids went wild for it. Change the flavors with hard candy oils and the colors with regular food coloring. Candy sea glass is a delicious hard candy treat kids and adults will love!
