Welcoming a sweet new baby means showering the mom-to-be with plenty of love, attention, and of course, a baby shower as precious as can be! We simply adore a gender neutral baby shower theme and this wholesome Noah's Ark Baby Shower is full of plenty of darling details. From the adorable animals and the ark inspired floral arrangements, to the hanging canvas art and nursery decor, this shower is the perfect way to honor the mom-to-be!
The Table:
The table was dressed in a pastel butter yellow table linen and was topped with a cloud inspired table runner to complete the look.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting was custom designed to highlight Noah and his ark!
An ark themed placemat, made from a Noah's Ark Sticker Scene, was layered beneath a Square Blue Dinner Plate, which was topped with a Noah's Ark themed Dessert Plate.
To the right sat a Noah's Ark Napkin which displayed a Light Yellow Cutlery set.
Above the cutlery sat perfectly coordinating Noah's Ark Paper Cups, which were accentuated with a matching paper straw.
To the left of each setting sat an adorable Pull Back Miniature Ark, perfect for keeping younger guests entertained at the shower.
The Centerpiece:
Our baby shower centerpiece rested upon a cloud inspired table runner.
Directly in the center sat a White Ceramic Cake Stand topped with a butter yellow patterned paper liner to compliment the color palette.
The stand displayed adorable cupcakes with darling Noah's Ark themed Cupcake Toppers made from stickers. Wool Felt Pom Pom Balls further embellished the cupcake stand as well.
To each side of the cake stand sat several Noah's Ark Ceramic Banks which we used to create miniature floral centerpieces using Faux Peonies and Bud Vases.
Wool Felt Pom Pom Balls were displayed around them to tie into our backdrop and our cupcake display.
The Backdrop and Buffet:
To create our backdrop, we lined a wall in a Cloud Themed Paper Roll and attached Tissue Ball Paper Sun Bursts on top.
A themed Noah's Ark Banner was strung below the Sun Bursts. We love the adorable illustrations on this fun kids' party banner!
In the center of the backdrop hung our DIY Noah's Ark Animal Mobile.
We simply love the colors brought in by the Wool Felt Pom Poms on this stunning, yet simple, baby mobile.
We tied the mobile in to the Noah's Ark theme by utilizing a mix of adorably sweet Miniature Zoo Animals which were suspended from our Wood Embroidery Hoop Frame.
The buffet table looked beautiful with additional desserts, beverages and coordinating Noah's Ark Centerpieces. Adorable Safari Animal Lollipops were a huge hit with the younger shower guests.
A delicious mocktail was served in Glass Carafes and was served with matching paper straws.
The themed Noah's Ark Centerpieces looked absolutely adorable with the additional decor on the table.
The Keepsake Station:
We wanted the mom-to be-to have a beautiful keepsake item to take home from her shower to add to her baby book or display in the baby's nursery. We created a small nook decorated with DIY Animal Themed Custom Canvases to match the theme of the baby shower. We love how these items can be repurposed for the baby's nursery after the shower is over.
An additional keepsake was our DIY Fingerprint Craft which was a perfect way to remember each guest that attended her shower.
Each guest was able to press their fingertip in a provided Ink Pad and leave a print on a custom printable designed by Jen T. by Design. We added some Primary Colored Yarn to make it look as though all the animals were floating in a cascade of balloons. This sweet and simple keepsake was perfect and the mother-to-be adored it!
