4 Classroom Management Tips Are you looking for new classroom management ideas with no prep? Do your students need more engagement in order to be successful? We know it is crucial to establish classroom procedures and routines to help our classroom run smoothly! Today, I am excited to share amazing resources from Oriental Trading that are easy to implement, no prep, and that students love!

Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down Classroom Paddles Classroom Management The Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down Classroom Paddles have been a hit since our first day of school! We use these paddles to answer questions during our whole group discussion and also during our end of the day meetings! This is a great way to allow every child to respond yet keep things quiet and moving. As you can see from this picture, I had mixed results from my question! The paddles are also a great way to see who understands an independent activity. Simply have students lay the paddle on their desk as they are working. Green stands for, "I got it! I'm good to go!" Red stands for, "I need some support!" Subject Magnets Classroom ManagementSubject Magnet cards are a fantastic resource for my ESL learners. I love that each magnet uses bright colors with a familiar shape or number to each subject. During the first week of school, I pointed to a card as we transitioned to the next subject in order for my ESL learners to make a connection with each magnetic. I use the green apple for our breakfast icon and the red apple means it is time to go home! I store all of my extra cards in a magnetic pencil holder. Attention Getter PostersClassroom ManagementAttention Getter Posters are a great new addition to my classroom! I love that my ESL learners have visuals to look to after learning each attention getter. I introduced one attention getter at a time and we practiced that attention getter for two days straight. My students were excited when it was time to learn a new attention getter! So far, our favorite attention getter is the line up chant on the classroom door. If I forget to start off the chant, one of my sweet friends does! Photographic Classroom Labels SetClassroom Management Half of my class speaks little to no English! When I started setting up my classroom, I knew immediately that I needed very visible labels with real life pictures. The Photographic Classroom Labels Set made labeling my classroom easy! Each label is large enough to be seen from across the room are printed on self-adhesive paper. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to adjust the label once attached, but I was wrong! Each label can easily be moved with no tearing. Classroom Brain Break Dice Classroom Management I have found that the Classroom Brain Break Dice is the easiest way to keep our classroom brain breaks interesting and engaging! I keep the dice on a shelf that is easily accessible and ask a student who is doing their job to pick a dice to roll. I love that we don't have to plug in any technology and it is super quick!
