Carving pumpkins is an all-time favorite Halloween activity at our house! But sometimes, we'd rather skip the ooey gooey mess that comes with classic pumpkin carving and have our little ones help decorate their pumpkins in fun and unique ways! All you need is a few simple crafting products and a pair of little hands to help and you'll be on your way to a fun and festive Halloween!

Your pumpkin is about to get a spooky mummy makeover make over with the help of some White Cheesecloth and Black Wiggle Eyes! Simply unravel and Hot Glue the end of the Cheesecloth to the back of a Foam Orange Pumpkin and wrap it around the Pumpkin until it is fully mummified and then add another drop of Hot Glue to secure the other end of the Cheesecloth. Add a drop of Hot Glue to the back of 2 Black Wiggle Eyes and place them on your Mummy Pumpkin to complete the spooky look!

Time to get tangled up in our Spider Web pumpkin! Unravel a lengthy piece of White Yarn and Hot Glue the end to the bottom of a Foam Orange Pumpkin. Wrap the Yarn around the Pumpkin in various directions creating a web effect and then Hot Glue the other end of the Yarn to the back of bottom of the Pumpkin. Add in a few Spider Push-Ins to bring this creep crawly pumpkin to life!

Get ready for a color explosion with this melted crayon pumpkin! Begin by adding a coat of white spray paint to a Foam Orange Pumpkin. This will make the colors of your Crayons pop! Choose approximately 10-12 Crayola Crayons. Have your little helper unwrap each Crayon and break the Crayon in half. If you happen to already have broken Crayons lying around the house, this is a great way to use them up! Using Tacky Glue, adhere each Crayon to the top of the Pumpkin so the tip of the Crayon is pointing down the Pumpkin. Allow to dry. Once dry, place the Pumpkin in a cardboard box and have your helper hold a hairdryer slightly above the Pumpkin and use the low heat setting to melt the Crayons. It will take a few minutes for the Crayons to melt, but your little crafter will love seeing the colorful outcome!

We're sure you've all tired painting pumpkins, but this tempura paint pumpkin takes it to the next level! Place a Foam Orange Pumpkin on a Paper Plate and then have your child pour a bit of each color from the Tropical Tempura Paint Set onto the top of the Pumpkin and then carefully tilt the Pumpkin so the Paint drips down its sides. More Paint can be added as needed to make this drippy-painted pumpkin one of a kind!

Get ready for the cutest and sweetest pumpkin around! Turn your Foam Orange Pumpkin into sprinkled donut by first adding a few coats of pink paint. We achieved the perfect shade of pink by mixing the pink from the Tropical Tempura Paint Set with some White Acrylic Paint. Paint the top half of the Pumpkin pink and allow to dry. As the Pumpkin is drying, cut up the Neon Tissue Paper Squares into tiny pieces so that they resemble sprinkles. Paint a layer of Mod Podge over the dried pink paint and add the pieces of Neon Tissue Paper. Seal with another coat of Mod Podge and admire your tasty pumpkin!
