It's time to party with the most magical creature of the sea. The one, the only, narwhal! Narwhals have been sweetly swimming their way into being one of the top party trends of the new year and we have to admit, we are fully obsessed. Our narwhal party is full of pretty pastel printables, cute and cuddly narwhals and a fun and simple DIY game you won't want to miss!
Our magical narwhal party was made fabulous with adorable custom party printables! We kept our decor simple so the printables would be the star of the show, especially the spectacular printable backdrop. Download all of the free party printables here!
We simply hung the backdrop using glue dots then surrounded it with confetti latex balloons. This entire backdrop only took a few minutes to set up and served as an amazing focal point for our party!
Each place setting on our table was made up of a pastel color paper dinner plate layered with a different colored pastel hexagonal paper dessert plate and then topped with the cutest printable plate decal we have ever seen.
Gold glitter forks sat on a coordinating pastel luncheon napkins while glass carafes were filled with sparkling pink lemonade and adorned with a printable wrapper and a gold foil striped straw.
We also included these darling narwhal squirt toy favors! We added a quick coat of blue spray paint to each narwhal then added some Mod Podge, gold glitter and a printable favor tag to its horn for a magical touch!
We decorated our table using a pastel rainbow table cover that we cut and used as a runner. It was a great way to bring in a pop of pastels to the center of the table.
We placed yummy vanilla cupcakes with strawberry frosting on a cake plate in the center of our table. This allowed for little hands to easily reach them while adding a cute piece of decor to our table!
Printable 2" circles were glued to pink striped paper straws and served as the perfect cupcake toppers! Aren't they just the cutest?
Printable narwhal signage was placed in 2 pink-painted picture frames and surrounded by the softest, squishiest Valentine plush narwhals!
The Valentine plush narwhals also served as the prize for the party guest that won our DIY Narwhal Spoon and Egg Race!
We transformed a spoon and egg from the egg spoon game by adding a coat of blue washable glitter tempera paint! Make sure to check out the full tutorial here!
Party guests then had to race from one end of the room to the other while balancing the painted egg on the narwhal spoon. The kids just loved this!
We hope this adorable narwhal party served up some magical inspiration!
