Incorporate real greenery into your DIY with this fresh project by Amy from Delineate Your Dwelling. Grab a set of candleholders and paint the insides with acrylic paint in shades of green using a brush (note that it may take a few coats to fully cover). Once dried, seal with Mod Podge(r) to ensure that watering the plant doesn't damage the paint. When dried, insert store-bought clover plants into each candle holder and arrange on your table or mantel, watering as needed. Transplant clover to a larger container post-St. Paddy's Day to give them room to grow.

Give your mantel a pop of green and gold with this painted burlap banner craft by Landee from Landeelu. Landee cut and strung together store bought gold polka dot burlap, and plain burlap, but you can skip these steps and purchase a plain burlap pennant garland. For the green striped triangles, she created lines with painter's tape, then filled in using green craft paint and a foam brush. Draw on gold polka dots with a metallic marker, dry and hang.

DIY Four Leaf Clover Paper Art

We're big fans of crafts that double as décor, and this four leaf clover project by Dinah from DIY Inspired is sure to make an appearance on your mantel year after year. Begin by covering a blank canvas (Dinah used a 5"x7" canvas, but you can go larger or smaller depending on your space) with green acrylic paint using a paint brush. While it dries, use a heart-shaped hole punch to cut hearts out of three different hues of green paper, plus a gold sheet for a bit of shimmer (Dinah used one sheet of each color; adjust accordingly depending on your canvas). Once the paint is dried, fold and glue the hearts to form a clover as Dinah shows, then place your completed canvas in a frame.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Wooden Sign

This cheerful St. Patrick's Day sign by Haeley from Design Improvised will make a perfect companion to other festive décor atop a mantel or make for a great way to greet guests on an entry table. She began with a blank DIY slat sign and covered it with white acrylic paint using a foam brush. Once dried, she used a pencil to stencil on "Happy St. Patrick's Day" (although letter stickers would work well too). She left the stencil in place, then painted over the letters with light and dark green acrylic paint using a foam brush, being careful not to smudge as she worked her way across. Then, she added a pop of color with glitter shamrock tattoos and glued on some wooden horseshoes for a final touch.

St. Patrick's Day Paper Fan Wreath

This fast and easy DIY St. Patrick's Day wreath by Haeley from Design Improvised is actually a series of paper fans glued together onto a wreath form. She began by wrapping a foam wreath form with burlap ribbon. Then, she took the small fans from a set of gold chevron and St. Patrick's Day hanging fans and used a dot of hot glue to keep each fan open. Next, she used scissors to trim the hanger off the top of each fan and to also add edging and texture to some of the fans. To secure the fans to the wreath, she made a small tab using a piece of cardstock, then glued the short end of the tab to the back of the fan and the long end to the wreath. She embellished with shimmering shamrocks and pieces from a foam shamrock craft kit, then hung using extra ribbon.

Take your love for the farmhouse look to your St. Patrick's Day décor with these shamrock Mason jars by Linda from Mason Jar Crafts Love. Begin with a clean Mason jar (or set of jars, depending on how many you want to make) and spray paint gold. Once dried, use a thin-tipped paint brush to create groups of three small dots of green acrylic paint to form clovers. Then, take a toothpick and draw down from the center of each clover to create a stem. Allow paint to dry and display as is or fill with your favorite spring blooms.

St. Patrick's Day Apothecary Jars

If you have a set of apothecary jars you repurpose for different occasions, don't miss out on creating this colorful St. Patrick's Day display by Trish from Uncommon Designs. Grab three apothecary jars, either all the same size or a mix of small, medium and large (Psst: They're also available as a money-saving set). Begin with gold-foiled Rolos(r) at the bottom, then work your way up with rows of gumballs in ROYGBIV order. Trish saved space and gumballs by stuffing rolled-up paper towels into the center of the jars. She tied each one off with a bright green ribbon and added shimmery shamrocks for a final touch.

PS: This DIY also works well with Mason jars!

DIY Rainbow Cloud

Grab your pliers and craft this cute rainbow and cloud by Ama from Ohoh Blog for Dream a Little Bigger. Cut wire to your desired length, then crimp to create the cloud shape and wind the ends together. Create drops by wrapping wire around a glue stick, cutting and pressing the ends together. Cut one piece of each color from a set of rainbow ribbon, then hot glue rain drops onto one end and glue the opposite end to the cloud. Hang with clear string to give a floating effect.
