Music both inspires and describes great love, evoking a memory or dream for the future. Let your love of country music convey your passion for each other on your wedding day.The band isn't the only way to fill your wedding with music. A country music theme can be woven throughout individual elements.
Take inspiration from the city of music itself, Nashville and incorporate musical instruments, albums, sheet music and notes into your reception decor. Combine with a fresh country palette of coral, blue and neutrals and this wedding will hit the right note.

"I wanna spend the rest of my life. With you by my side" Lonestar
I always pay special attention to decorating the bride and grooms seats. Whether they choose to sit at a sweetheart table or with friends I want them to feel special and for their seats to be both recognizable and unique. After all, this is where the photographer is going to take plenty of pictures during dinner and the toasts.
For this Nashville inspired wedding I chose western hats as chair backers.
I used a blue ribbon around the grooms hat and White Lace Ribbon with a peony around the brides.
"Pull up a seat, take a load off your feet. Come on over." Shania Twain
I started with a country style rustic wood table, creating a table runner made from a cut of Lace Pattern Tulle Roll. On top of the lace I created a Nashville inspired centerpiece using musical instruments and florals.

"I'm head over boots for you" " Jon Pardi
I then layered the place settings, accenting them with Personalized Guitar Picks. Starting with a White Scalloped Charger and an Ivory Premium Plasitc Dinner Plate with Silver Border and then adding a Plastic Hanging Record Decoration. Pop out the middle of the record decoration and then place it on the setting. On top of the record add a White Elegance Premium Plastic Dessert Plate and Coral Dinner Napkin.
Finally, I placed the Premium Metallic Silver Cutlery on top of the napkin. These were tied together with bakers twine and a Guitar Charm.
All of the guests names are displayed in a Western Wedding Place Card Holder. I painted the boots pale blue and used a fine tip paintbrush to paint the raised boot accents coral.
"But I like it, I love it, I want some more of it" Tim McGraw
The cake table is displayed on a small table covered with a Round White Lace Tablecloth. 2 packs of Musical Note Bulletin Board Cutouts create a gorgeous and romantic backdrop to the wedding cake. Take this one step further. If you have the sheet music for your wedding song, or a song with special meaning you could replicate the music with these notes for the backdrop.
The cake itself is displayed on a wood and marble cake stand that sits on top of a vintage country music album.
I used the triangle from the 6-Piece Rhythm Instrument Set as a cake topper with a faux peony. Use a small piece of cling film under these before adding to the top of the cake.
"I'll put a ring on the finger I've been wrapped around." Taylor Ray Holbrook
Under the cake the rings are displayed in a gorgeous wood Personalized Wedding Ring Box. It has the perfect rustic look and feel for a Nashville inspired wedding. I used a triangle from the Melissa & Doug Band in a Box as a decorative accent.
"Write your name across my heart." Kenny Rogers
Having a guestbook is a lovely way of capturing your guests thoughts and looking back to relive the day. I used western hats and a guitar as decorative accents on the guest book table.
The guitar is tied with a bouquet of dahlias, peonies and White Lace Ribbon.

Guests can write in the guestbook using Guitar Pens painted light blue to match the color palette. These were placed in a vintage record mold I found at a second hand store. As a fun alternative, use the guitar itself as the guestbook!
As smaller decorative accents I used Personalized Guitar Picks and Festive Harmonica's painted pale blue on top of vintage country music tape cassettes.
Country love song lyrics were also placed in Tall Metal Spiral Place Card Holders and used as additional decoration throughout the wedding reception. These are included as a free download. You could add to these with your favorite songs, the song that was playing during your first kiss or first dance.
