Every rock star needs his or her own glam guitar, and we’re making our own for Music Makers Week. These cardboard guitars are the perfect blank slate for campers to show off their creativity. All types of craft supplies can be used to decorate these guitars; the more glam the better! Campers can have fun using metallic stars, foil mosaic squares, and hearts to make their guitars shine.
Make the Project
Pull out the dress-up clothes, round up the instruments, and turn on the music for your own singing competition! Have each contestant pick their favorite song to sing along to. Then let campers use whatever props they like such as these fun inflatable microphones or some of their DIY Instruments and give each of them a chance to shine on stage. Reward their great performances with these gold star trophies!

Every kid loves a scratch off craft and this one is perfect for music maker week! Set out these magic color scratch music notes along with the scratch tools and let campers have fun using the tools to create any colorful design they like. There is a rainbow of color hidden underneath the black layer on each of the music notes. The notes come in a pack of 24 and can be used to decorate the stage for your music competition.
