A Moroccan inspired wedding is a chic, colorful and elegant way to celebrate your nuptials in style! Full of contemporary greenery, brightly colored flowers, gold details and Moroccan elements, this wedding follows a uniquely beautiful theme that is gorgeous year round! The best part is you can get the look for less by creating some custom and creative DIY elements and mouth watering tasty recipes that will compliment your celebration perfectly!
The Table:
We layered our wooden table with a cream and gold color palette which was accentuated with pops of deep blue and multicolored details.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting was layered with a gold charger plate, topped with a blue dinner napkin and a large white dinner plate topped with a smaller salad plate.
We loved how the place settings popped against the colors of the centerpiece and our blue dinner napkins.
Each place setting was topped with a blue vintage style candle holder filled with orange and yellow florals.
To the side of each setting sat gold cutlery which complimented the other gold details of the wedding.
To the left of our setting sat the wedding favor, DIY Moroccan Spice Mix, in an elegant pedestal container with a custom free printable label.
To the right of our setting sat our drinkware; two Moroccan style glasses and a gold scalloped embellished champagne glass for the first toast.
The Centerpiece:
We kept our centerpiece sleek and elegant.
A greenery garland made of eucalyptus was dressed up with an array of bright blooms.
We created DIY Moroccan Jars to tie in the blue and gold detailing of the wedding into the centerpiece. They looked perfect flanking each end of the centerpiece and added a chic Moroccan inspired look to the table.
Small candles were displayed in white Moroccan style candle holders.
The Backdrop:
The backdrop consisted of 2 large gold geometric frames.
We loved how the geometric shapes of these large gold frames gave our backdrop a modern Moroccan flare.
We added a little detailing to each frame by pulling in additional florals and greenery.
The Dessert Buffet:
As a unique alternative dessert, guests were served up gourmet Fruit, Honey and Fig Tartlets.
These tartlets are not only delicious, but they looked amazing displayed on our buffet.
We loved how gorgeous these tartlets looked resting upon the wooden cake stand that sat on a gold detailed Moroccan style candle holder.
To each side of the tartlets were gold lanterns filled with florals to tie into our centerpiece.
To each side of the lanterns sat wooden candle holders and wooden risers that were enhanced with more vintage style candle holders.
