To make things more fun, encourage the kiddos to come dressed in their Halloween best! For our party, the little ones all came dressed in monster-themed outfits. You can find a great selection of monster-themed costumes here.
Bright, festive colors and silly googly-eye details kept the spook away from this soiree, and made it a kid-friendly fête.
Colorful plates in lime green, purple and teal graced each place setting at our dining table. We topped each plate with an Enormous Googly Eye, then crafted toothy smiles from candy corn to create friendly monsters for each setting. Black Metallic Stripe Beverage Napkins and Black Plastic Forks completed the look.
Clear Glass Milk Bottles were transformed into monstrously cute drinking vessels thanks to some printable monster bottle labels that I designed. I also created festive little drink stirrers for each bottle by topping Black Striped Paper Straws with Black Yarn Pom-Poms and Black Googly Eyes.
A Black and White Striped Table Runner lined the center of the table and was the perfect pop of contrast for the bright colors of the plates. We topped the runner with pumpkins and colorful Pom-Poms that we embellished with Googly Eyes.
Cookie Chic by Samantha Diaz created the most adorable custom cookies to match our Monster Mingle! We packaged the mini cookies into groups of three to create the word "BOO," secured them with a printable treat label, and placed a package at each place setting on our table for the kiddos to enjoy. The bottle labels and treat labels can both be found in my Etsy shop.
The cute cookies and candy corns on each plate were a highlight for the kiddos as they took their seats!
Pumpkin decorating at a Halloween arty is so much fun! We provided each guest with an Orange Craft Pumpkin and a Foam Monster Pumpkin Decorating Craft Kit, so they could each have their own monster pumpkin to take home.
The kids had a blast posing for pictures behind the Monster Cardboard Stand-In Stand-Up. We even managed to get our littlest guy in a few of the shots! These pics are great for sending to your guests after the party as a "thank you" for coming.
The eyeball balloon garland that we created was the focal point of the party and really helped set the mood! We used a combination of yellow, purple, turquoise and chrome balloons for the base of the garland, then added smaller white balloons in front. We glued small white paper circles onto black circles, then attached them to the white balloons to look like eyeballs.
We concentrated on packaging our party handouts individually so that guests could have a safe, low-contact party experience. The food that we offered was individually packaged, and there were lots of toys available. A printable favor sign invited the kiddos to help themselves to some treats. The Slime Eating Monster Toys and the Monster Fur Cotton Candy were definite favorites!
Plush Monsters, Cute Monster Yo-Yos, and gumball eyeball treats (DIY Medium Clear Ornaments filled with Orange, Purple and Green Gumballs then topped with a Giant Black Googly Eye) were all available for guests to take. We also created adorable Monster Favor Pails and filled them with bags of popcorn. Get the easy tutorial to make your own Monster Pails here.
The kiddos thought the Monster Headbands were really fun, too!
