The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year, so why not take a little break grab an adult beverage and enjoy our Mod & Merry Cocktail Party! We are pretty much obsessed with the color scheme and design of the Mod & Merry party ware and loved playing with all the fun products! They made for such a fun and relaxed vibe, while still incorporating some holiday chic!
The Decor: We set up our bar on a long table so we had plenty of space for all of our cocktails and decor! We started with a White Rectangle Tablecloth and then layered a red, satin runner and the Mod & Merry Table Runner on top of that. The Mod & Merry Centerpiece was placed on a white cake plate in the center of the table. We flanked that with our DIY Mod Reindeer Decor using the Bowing & Standing Reindeer. We love how a simple coat of paint can change the whole look of a product! And how cute are their little, beaded necklaces?!
The Reindeer were surrounded by color-coordinating, painted Pinecones and our DIY Sequin Ornaments! You simply can't go wrong with sequins!
We also painted varying sizes of Styrofoam cones and DIY Cone Shapes to mimic Christmas trees. We then lined them in Metallic Trim for a bit of a glam! The Drinks: Now, onto the most important part of a cocktail party, the drinks! We served our signature Peppermint Martini in candy cane rimmed, Clear Martini Glasses with Mod & Merry Stir Sticks.
These martinis were super delicious and would make for a fabulous cocktail at any holiday party! They were served on white, rectangular serving trays lined with Mod & Merry Beverage Napkins to add a pop of color! Another favorite recipe was our mini White Russians served in Clear Glass Shot Glasses; rimmed in white, crystal sugar and topped with Mod & Merry Food Picks. We served these on White Triangle Beads Trays. Aren't they the cutest?!
We also served spiked white hot chocolate in Red & White Snowflake Wine Glasses that we spray painted to match all the fun colors of the party decor!
Colorful Snowflakes and Pinecones: We added even more color to our cocktail party by spray painting some Pinecones and White Chipboard Snowflakes and turning them into a garland for the front of our table! Simply tape a piece of white ribbon across the front of the table and then hot glue the painted Pinecones and Snowflakes directly to it! So easy and cute! We took the Snowflake Floor Decals and outlined them in red, pink, green and blue Sharpie Permanent Fine Point Marker! This added the perfect pop of color to our backdrop along with the Mod & Merry Garland. And what would the holidays be without a tree to decorate?! We placed two Winter Tree Standups at either side of our table and decorated them with card stock snowflakes. These were so easy to put together and would make cute photo booth backdrops as well!
