Mix Metallic New Year's Eve Wedding

Mix Metallic New Year's Eve Wedding

A New Year's Eve wedding is so much fun! Even more reason to go super glam… all the sequins, all the foil, all the glitter and all the metallics. Don't hold back! This wedding features - gold, rose gold, copper, silver, and platinum – combined with modern marble and classic black and white. It creates a chic sophisticated look, a Mixed Metallic New Year's Wedding.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-full-view-roomThe Table: For this wedding, I wanted the modern feel of marble table tops. To create the look, I used a marble adhesive film that was easily removed afterward. I love the way it looks.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-marble-tabletop-white-rose-centerpieceOn top of the marble, I used a Black Sequin Table Runner and then created an elegant white rose centerpiece using Clear Square Votive Holders (2 columns by 26 rows). I painted a strip of 1/3" metallic gold around the bottom of each votive holder & placed a single white rose inside each one. This is a cost-effective and simple centerpiece that you can easily DIY yourself.

In the center of this centerpiece, I added an elegant gold sand timer and vintage clock faces I picked up at the flea market.

I started with Gold Chargers, followed by a White Premium Plastic Dinner Plate with Silver Trim, a Black Paper Dessert Plate and then a black napkin with a menu on top.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-elegant-mixed-metal-placesettingThe menu was created by Elena of World Wide Party. It's an elegant design, marble with mixed metallic geometric and a glamorous black font.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-menu-cardI added Premium Metallic Copper Cutlery to each place setting and a trio of glassware. A smoky black wine glass, the chic Cylinder Champagne Flute and a Clear Stemless Wine Glass which I had enhanced with metallic gold paintbrush strokes at the base. Free printable placecards and confetti wand labels also help to make each guest feel extra special.

Confetti adds the perfect touch of whimsy to the celebrations. You can also add these as decor accents elsewhere.

A modern twist on the classic champagne tower inspired by the latest donut wall trend (and my obsession with pegboard)!

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-bar-marquee-lightsThe Premium Plastic Rose Gold Dot Champagne Flutes were perfect for this DIY Champagne Wall. Even better, they are plastic! No dangerous breakages. Each flute had a tag with the couple's monogram on marble and inside an elegant metallic geometric.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-champagne-towerThe wall was a feature of the bar area & BAR marquee lights drew further attention to this feature. Get the full how-to for this DIY Champagne Wall for a New Year's Eve Wedding here.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-champagne-towerThe bar also included a cart with my New Year's Eve Signature Countdown Cocktail & its framed recipe as well as two champagne buckets.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-bar-cart-set-upI had fun with the champagne buckets, filling them with Mini Champagne Confetti Party Poppers for guests to take home. Instead of ice, these were filled with Clear Acrylic Gems, Silver Faceted Round Gems, and Clear Acrylic Ice, keeping the favors in position on top of glamorous gems all night. Be sure to grab the free printable favor labels here before throwing your big bash.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-confetti-popper-displayTo complete the bar I added metallic foil piñatas to the cart and Jumbo 36" Silver Balloons tied with Champagne Fringe Garlands behind it.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-Table-and-barCapture Special Moments: I love a photo booth for weddings, they help break the ice and get guests interacting. For a New Year's Wedding, I love them even more! Why? They capture the classic old-school feel of a glamorous New Year's Eve. Above all, the best reason for a photo booth is that people love them! One of my favorite pictures from my own wedding is of my bridesmaids taking a Polaroid selfie. I have that selfie shot and the photo of their joy taking it. Irreplaceable. Photo booths do not have to be expensive. Check out how to create a DIY Metallic Fringe Photo booth here, it is affordable, high impact glam.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-mixed-metallic-photoboothThen add an accent table for your photo booth props, roses in a gorgeous Gold Trim Open Top Terrarium & your wedding hashtag. Yay, unedited fun on your Instagram feed!

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-wedding-hashtagInclude Thoughtful Details: I fell in love with this glamorous metallic theme. This 3-tiered cake by Confection Deception incorporated metallics into each of the cake layers to really show it off.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-cake-tableThe cake was also an opportunity to showcase the upcoming marble trend and the geometric accents used in the printables. I added a vintage clock face and hands to tie into our New Year's Eve theme.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-Marble-and-metallic-cake-topperThe cake sat atop platinum sequins, with champagne glasses, clocks & candles as accents.

Guests were asked to provide a resolution for the newlyweds on marble monogrammed cards created by Elena from World Wide Party. I paired them with elegant black & gold envelopes and a copper pen.

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-resolution-cardsThe couple's own resolution was displayed in a gold frame and I added confetti, metallic & candle accents with white florals. The couple will remember these for days and years to come!

Fairytale-Mixed-Metallic New-Years-Eve-Wedding-couples-resolution I hope you enjoyed this Mixed Metallic New Year's Eve wedding with simple, yet glamorous ideas. Now pop the confetti & check out my DIY Metallic Fringe Photo Booth, DIY Champagne Wall, and New Year's Eve Signature Countdown Cocktail to complete your dream New Year's Eve Wedding.
