THE TABLE
To create a chic and striking look for your party, decorate one side of the room pink and the other blue. Split the decor right down the middle of the table. Guests can even double down on their Mickey or Minnie guess by sitting on the pink or blue side of the table!
"Pop the confetti" early to create a fabulously fun table runner. On the blue side, pop the Oh Baby Blue Confetti Cannon. Use the empty cannon as an accent, wrapping light blue cardstock around the end and adding a Eureka® Mickey Mouse Clubhouse® Hand Bulletin Board Cutout to make it look like Mickey himself popped the confetti.
Tip: Pop the confetti cannons into a box to control the spread of confetti, take it from the box and place on the table.
Spread the confetti from the cannon down one half of the middle of the table. Insert the Mickey faces from the Disney® Mickey's Fun To Be One Confetti into the confetti mix. An extra dash of Mickey magic!
On the other end of the table use an Oh Baby Pink Confetti Cannon with a pink card stock wrap.
Follow the same layout as the blue side of the table, only this time mix Disney® Minnie's Fun To Be One Confetti into the pink confetti from the cannon.
The cannons are a great way to reveal the baby's gender at the end of the party. Make sure you have an cannon for this type of reveal. Another fun alternative is to create a mystery box, complete with "Mystery Tool" (from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) question mark on the outside. Inside place a set of Mickey or Minnie ears for the big gender reveal.
In the center of the confetti, on each side of the table place Mickey & Minnie Mouse topiary. For Mickey paint DIY Medium Foam Balls, DIY Small Foam Balls and a Bow Tie Napkin Ring pale blue.
Use Bamboo Skewers to attach the smaller balls (ears) to the larger ball. Use a low temp glue to attach the napkin ring to the bottom. Next, push a Gold Foil Striped Paper Straw into the bottom of the ball and push the other end into floral foam inside a blue Spring Pastel Paper Cup. Cover the floral foam with faux grass.
For Minnie paint the foam balls and napkin ring pink. Glue the napkin ring to the top of the foam ball between the ears.
On each cup add a mystery tool question mark. Download printable question marks here or cut out using a Cricut® machine.
THE PLACE SETTINGS
In keeping with pink vs. blue sides of the table, use coordinating place settings.
For blue, start with a Premium Clear Plastic Dinner Plate. Use a small paint brush to create small blue brushstrokes on the underside of the plate. This look ties in with the festive confetti and breaks up the blues of the setting.
On top of this layer a Light Blue Round Paper Dinner Plate and a Light Blue Luncheon Napkin inside a Bow Tie Napkin Ring painted blue. Above the napkin ring place a Mickey made using Crayola® Model Magic® and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Cookie Cutter Set. Mickey wears a bow tie on the blue side!
At each setting place add light blue cutlery and a Clear Stemless Plastic Wine Glass with a mystery tool question mark.
Next to the glass place a Pastel Blue Baby Bottle Favor Container filled with Sixlets® Blue Chocolate Candy. Have fun with the bottle and add Mickey ears using left over Crayola® Model Magic®.
On the pink side create the same layered setting. Change out the blue with a Light Pink Paper Dessert Plate, Light Pink Luncheon Napkin, pink cutlery and a napkin ring painted pink.
Below the napkin ring place a Minnie made using Crayola® Model Magic® and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Cookie Cutter Set as above. Minnie wears a bow in her hair on the pink side!
Use a Pink Baby Bottle Favor Container filled with Sixlets® Light Pink Chocolate Candy.
THE BACKDROP
The backdrop matches the color split down the middle of the table.
In the center of the backdrop use the giant sized Gender Reveal Party Piñata. Add to the festivities with light blue and light pink balloons.
Make this DIY Mickey or Minnie Gender Reveal Backdrop using paper fans, card stock and DIY wood circles to create the unmistakable magical mouse silhouettes.
Use a Light Blue Plastic Tablecloth for the Mickey cake table. Elevate the cake with a White Square Gift Box with Gold Foil Trim and a clay Mickey and place the cake on a blue cake stand.
Use additional painted foam balls to create a matching cake topper. Tip: Use cling film under the topper for food safety.
On the pink side use the same layout, replacing the blues with a Light Pink Plastic Tablecloth, pink cake stand and pink cake topper.
Finally, send your guests home with a quick and easy Disney themed treat. Use the Mickey cookie cutter to shape store bought rice krispie treats and dip the ears into blue and pink chocolate. Cheers!
