Gender reveal parties are so much fun! They weren’t a trend when I was having babies, but if they were I totally would have wanted this mermaid or little fisherman gender reveal party! My husband would rather be fishing more than just about anything else. Luckily for the husband I gave him three little fisherman and one mermaid who all love nothing more than fishing with daddy!
The gender reveal itself is in that message in a bottle! How fun is that? It can also be a little nerve wracking! I mean it's just right there taunting everyone! Having food at any party is important...but especially when a guest is pregnant! Crab salad was one of my favorite things to eat when I was pregnant with my first child. Making sliders full of crab salad is both genius and bad news because when food is in miniature form I feel like I should eat lots more. Especially when they're this delicious! Have your guests wear their guess as to what the baby will be during your gender reveal party! My daughter made these fun little bracelets for each of the guests to wear. The bracelets were made with either a mermaid or an anchor depending on what they thought the gender would be!
