To set the scene for my mermaid bachelorette party I first laid a green sequin tablecloth down and added an iridescent green runner down the center. Each place setting received a mermaid sparkle dinner plate with a mermaid sparkle dessert plate layered on top. I personalized the mermaid bachelorette invitations by punching holes in them and adding pink ribbon. These served as the perfect place settings for my bachelorette party.
I added a bit of mermaid sparkle to plain mint green cutlery by hot gluing iridescent gems to them. These were the perfect accent to the mermaid sparkle luncheon napkins and are just such a fun way to add an unexpected pop to your table.
Starfish served as the perfect placecards for this mermaid themed party. Print out on cardstock and attach to starfish using a bit of twine or ribbon. I also spray painted white cut out candle holders purple to march the mermaid plates and add a pop of color to the table. Download the free placecard tag here!
My dessert table included mini white pails with mermaid bark as a treat for guests. Mini white pails are the perfect way to serve snacks at a beachside party as they are easy to grab and match the coastal theme. I decorated my dessert table with a mermaid themed tablecloth and blue glass spheres. The dessert table was also the perfect place to display my DIY message in a bottle party favors which include sweet messages from the bride to her bridesmaids.
To give my mermaid bachelorette party a coastal look I decorated the middle of my tablescape with a DIY shell topped bottle centerpiece. I spray painted clear vintage soda bottles to give them a sea glass look and wrapped starfish around the tops. I also glued pearls to the tops of a few shells and starfish to give them a more elegant look and sprinkled them around my table. To finish off my mermaid bachelorette party I tied the last splash bachelorette garland to the front of my table.
