Science has been all the rage at our house the past few months so when our kids asked to have a science themed play date, we simply couldn’t resist! Read on to see what easy, full proof experiments we had the kids do in our DIY Science Lab, how they made their own Ice Cream in a Bag and all the delicious toppings they used to decorate their ice cream from our DIY Ice Cream Toppings Bar!
They put on their lab coats, decorated with Science Party Mini Buttons, their science goggles and Clip Bow Ties and were ready to get to work!
The kids began by making Gum Drop molecules following our printable molecule flashcards!
Next, they made yummy gummy Worms dance in a mixture of baking soda, water and vinegar all held in Super Science Test Tubes with Trays and labeled with our Test Tube Printable!
Lastly, they made their very own elephant toothpaste using some simple pantry ingredients and their favorite Liquid Watercolor and Paint Funnel
You can find the steps for each of these experiments in our DIY Science Lab post! Trust us, you and your mad little scientists won't want to miss it! The kids loved to taking notes in their Science Journals and playing with the most adorable Science Party Stress Characters! We seriously couldn't get enough of these little guys!
They also loved drinking from the Science Party Cups with Straws. The made for fabulous favors as well!
After finishing up in the science lab, the kids went to our DIY Ice Cream Lab to create their very own Ice Cream in a Bag! You won't believe how easy (and yummy) this ice cream is! And it literally only took 10 minutes!
The homemade ice cream was served in glass beakers on top of Science Party Dessert Plates. The kids then dove into our DIY Ice Cream Lab Toppings Bar to complete their scientific sundaes!
Various chocolate candies were held in this awesome Science Party Treat Stand and classic ice cream sundae toppings were placed in small, glass beakers.
Our favorite part were the Science Party Test Tube Favor Containers filled with rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips!
And of course, who could forget that fantastic Science Party Frosted Lollipop?!
As our scientists headed home from the lab we stopped them for a quick photo-op in front of our Science Party Wall Cutouts. It was amazing to see them turn into mad scientists before our very eyes!
