We skipped a traditional backdrop and instead wowed our gals with a breathtaking ceiling hanging. Everyone's hearts skipped a beat upon seeing the gorgeous display! Working from the top down really helped to create a dreamy and whimsical atmosphere. The best part of all was that it didn't break the bank! Who knew something so incredibly beautiful could also be budget friendly?!
The Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland covered Wire Wreath Frames were spray painted copper to coordinate with our color palette then were bedecked with blooms from a Pink Peony Floral Garland. The wreaths were then suspended from removable adhesive hooks attached to the ceiling with Gold Baker's Twine. We then draped Champagne Draping Fabric through the wreaths.
The cascading draping hung low and puddled on the floor, beautifully framing our dining table, which created an intimate feeling. You can find the full Ethereal Ceiling Draping DIY here.
The blushing bride's chair was dressed with plenty of luck thanks to the pretty in pink DIY Shamrock Unfinished Wood Ornaments on the Lucky Bride Chair Backer we crafted. The chair backer, which could easily be used as a St. Patrick's Day wreath by removing the "bride" stickers, effortlessly hung from the bride's chair thanks to a bow of pink ribbon. See how we transformed a Gold Wreath with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus into a show stopping adornment here.
The Tablescape
We warmed up the space by using a rich natural wood tone table, which received a boho touch thanks to a macrama© table runner we had on hand. You could easily recreate the look by layering a couple Crocheted Table Runners down the center of your table.
A gorgeous Blush Rose Floral Bouquet served as a centerpiece and had a modern feel upon being nestled in a geometric Rose Gold Candle Holder.
Pink Bulb Shape Bud Vases sat on either side of the bouquet with rose clippings tucked inside.
Tall blush taper candles looked lovely nestled into a Copper Taper Candle Holder Set.
To remind guests how lucky the bride felt to have them in her life, copies of the Irish friendship proverb were printed were printed on White Cardstock then framed in DIY Unfinished Wood Shamrock Frames, which we had painted light green. You can download the free Irish Friendship Proverb here.
The final decorating touch for our tablescape was a Pink Glass Bud Vase that was filled with roses and sat on either end.
The Place Settings
After mingling with all her guests, the bride invited them to join her at the charmingly set table to dine on a healthy brunch menu.
Layering your plates is a great way to add depth and interest to your place settings. We combined Blush Floral Dessert Plates and Metallic Rose Gold Hexagon Dinner Plates for a elegant look.
A rose gold fork coordinated with the theme's color palette and rested upon a Blush Floral Lunch Napkin. Guests sipped on libations from Premium Clear Crystal Plastic Wine Glasses.
Shamrock Shaped Favor Boxes were dressed up with stickers that spelled each of the guest's name and held a Lucky Morse Code Bracelet. We loved how the box doubled as both a place card as well as a thank you gift. You can find the steps to create your own Lucky Morse Code Bracelets by stringing pink, white and gold beads onto embroidery floss here.
Three Cheers for Cake!
Next to the Ethereal Ceiling Draping, the cake table canopy was a close favorite element of the décor. The canopy was a cinch to create using pieces from a Tabletop Tiki Hut. After assembling, we spray painted the canopy copper then draped with a Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland.
Pampas grass, cut from our yard, was showcased in a tall vase next to a Rose Gold Candle Holder, which held a Battery Operated Round Flameless Candle. This pampas grass could offer a similar look.
Our cake table itself was kept simple yet was not short on style or charm.
We spray painted a Gold Cheers Calligraphy Cutout Sign blush and placed it on the left side of the table for a chic look.
A Black Wide Geometric Tea Light Holder, spray painted copper, beautifully held a Blush Rose Floral Bouquet next to a glass cut coupe filled with heart shaped raspberry shortbread cookies.
A bottle of bubbly sat at the ready for the toasts to be made.
Naked cakes may be simplistic in form, but when dressed up with roses and sitting on a gorgeous cake plate they become absolute showstoppers.
Lucky Charm Favors
Last but not least, a chippy wood table, set up in the corner, served as a favor table and gave an otherwise forgotten space a bit of eye candy.
The top of the table held a White Candle Holder Set, which was spray painted copper to better coordinate with our theme's colors, that had White Battery Operated Round Flameless Candles resting on them. A Pink Glass Bud Vase, holding blush roses, sat nearby.
DIY Unfinished Wood Shamrock Frames filled with Irish Friendship Proverb printable not only accentuated our decor but were sweet take-home gifts for each guest. A copper-painted Geometric Black Metal Tea Light Holder sat to the side to fill out the space in style.
Before departing, guests gazed upon the stunning decor one last time and felt lucky to be a part of the bride's forthcoming loving union!
