Wedding season is in full bloom and what better way to celebrate someone’s upcoming nuptials than with a gorgeous garden bridal shower! Florals are the perfect inspiration to create a fresh and colorful pallet of decor for this rustically chic shower.
Creating the look: Our table was set with a white linen and burlap overlay. We created a table runner of fresh flowers and greens to complement the colors of the floral inspired napkins. This was a fun and inexpensive way to bring a bit of the outside in! A lovely White Bird Cage sat upon a rustic crate and served as the focal point of our table, which also housed a Quart Ball Mason Jar adorned with Wide Natural Ribbon and White Lace Ribbon and a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. The classic White Lantern Set also served as a part of our centerpiece and was used to hold Ball Jelly Jars with various floral details. Mini Coral Paper Lanterns were used to bring in a pop of color amidst the flowers and greens.
Each place setting included a Shabby Chic Lace Placemat, large square yellow floral dinner plate, a chocolate brown floral printed napkin , mint blue floral napkin, Light Pink Fork, a Ball Jelly Jar filled with refreshing, pink lemonade; adorned in White Lace Ribbon and thin mint green washi tape topped with a feminine Pink Striped Paper Straw all atop an Unfinished Wood Slice.
Each guest's setting was topped with a DIY floral planter place card using the DIY Ceramic Mini Flowerpots; which were filled with lovely, pink peonies; adding a soft and feminine touch to the table. These place cards were so simple to create and we just love how the Shaped Chalkboard Stickers and Sharpie Metallic Fine Point Permanent Markers allowed us to add a personalized touch to the table!
Our rustic dining chairs were adorned with our DIY Shabby Chic Lace Placemat chair backers. Adding a few sprigs of fresh babies breath added the perfect floral touch!
The Shabby Chic Lace Placemats, with the addition of some more fresh flowers, also served as the perfect backdrop banner for our shower.
The beverage cart included more decorated Ball Jelly Jars and Pink Striped Paper Straws; placed on ivory floral napkins and a Clear Plastic Pitcher of sparkling, pink lemonade atop a rustically painted wood slab.
We loved creating the DIY Suspended Mason Jar decor using Quart Ball Mason Jars, Natural Cording, Wide Natural Ribbon, White Lace Ribbon and White Satin Ribbon . It served as the quintessential rustic backdrop for our beverage display!
And you can't toast the bride without champagne! We created these beautiful floral ice cubes to chill our pink bubbly, which added a fun and modern detail to our display.
Our delectable sweets table included a cake inspired by the floral napkins, and our DIY cookie Cups.
Using the Bamboo Shot Glasses and some store-bought cookies, we were able to create a simple and chic dessert that was the perfect way to serve a light, yet delicious treat to our guests! The Color Cupcake Boards were the ideal shape and color to set our dessert cups on and were made even more gorgeous when placed atop the mint blue floral napkin and yellow garden dessert plate.
So, no matter the venue, if using a few of the above noted products and our simple DIY's, there is always a way to bring a bit of garden inspired style to your event!
