Pumpkin Party Table

This party setup is perfect for the outdoors. A distressed wooden picnic table holds all the of the party food, while large and small wood crates along with hay bales add height and interest to the table.

Of course lots of pumpkins were incorporated into our Little Pumpkin Birthday Party. Orange foam pumpkins, resin pumpkins, and ceramic pumpkins in all different shapes and sizes are transformed with a few coats of light pink, white, and coral spray paint. Gold pumpkin stems tie all the colored pumpkins together and are easy to create with some gold metallic paint and a paintbrush. You could also try your hand at using a Jumbo Gold Paint Marker if that's more your speed.

We showed off our DIY Party Favor Board at the center of the table on a large wood crate. It's easy to transform a wood slat sign and hang adorable drawstring bags with a pumpkin on the front of each one. We also added a number 1 to each bag since we were throwing a first birthday party! Each bag was filled with tasty salt water taffy. Yum! You can learn how to make these pumpkin party favors here and get the free printable pumpkin templates as well.

Two giant gold balloons were filled using a large helium tank and tied at the back of the table to add more color and some background to the table.

A large hay bale on the left side of the table held a pink Pumpkin Lollipop Holder made from a foam pumpkin that held pink and gold lollipops. Be sure to see the full Pumpkin Lollipop Holder tutorial here to learn how to make your own.

A glass jug filled with cold apple cider is the perfect fall drink and matches the apple branch greenery on the table that I cut off one our apple trees. Adorable small hay bales are right at home sitting next to the colored pumpkins and snacks on the table.

More pink, orange, white, and coral pumpkins made a sweet centerpiece scattered down the middle of the rustic wood table. Silver dollar eucalyptus greenery, pink peonies, along with white and yellow flowers all added a feminine touch to the distressed table.
