Kids' Noon Year's Eve Party

Kids' Noon Year's Eve Party

Ring in the Noon Year! This sweet Kids' New Year's Eve Party is such a fun way to celebrate the end of the year with your family and children. Since this is a morning celebration, pajamas are definitely welcome, too! To put this party together in a breeze, I've also designed a full pack of Free Party Printables. This New Year's Eve—who needs the moon; let's celebrate at noon!

Noon Year's Eve full party setup

This bright and colorful kids' Noon Year's Eve celebration is full of laid-back family fun. From the pillow floor seating and towers of donuts, to the noisemakers and ribbon sticks, this party is a perfect way to create memories and kick off the new year.

The Food Table

The main food table was decked out in glittery golds, vibrant colors and a spread of show-stopping breakfast foods. I first wrapped the table in a Gold Tinsel Table Skirt. Then I hung coordinating Gold Tinsel Garlands, as well as Gold Glitter Star Garlands, above the table. Next, I placed my 'Happy Noon Year's Eve!' free printable backdrop sign on the wall behind the table. Surrounding the sign, I hung Happy Day Party Fans to add color and texture, highlighting the backdrop. On the floor beneath the table, I scattered Hot Pink Mini Paper Lanterns, Yellow Honeycomb Decorations, Light Blue Honeycomb Decorations, and Happy Day 11" Latex Balloons.

Stacks of mini waffles on a white platter

Since a Noon Year's Eve party begins in the morning, a menu of breakfast foods is a must. I used Clear Donut Serving Stands to display stacks of donuts on the table. I also stacked mini waffles skewered by the individual letters from the Hooray Cake Topper. I then placed each mini waffle tower on the Long White Platter. Next to the platter, I set out a bottle of maple syrup with a free printable label that read 'A Sweet Ending to a New Beginning'. I then filled a Half-Gallon Cylinder Jar with Lid with cereal and added a clear Candy Scoop for easy serving.

I also filled Mini Plastic Candy Containers with colorful Sixlets candies and then placed a Ring Pop on top of each one. To dress up the Ring Pops a bit more, I tied a free printable 'Ring in the Noon Year' tag to each one. Lastly, I filled a Glass Jar Set with the remaining Sixlets candies and also sprinkled Gold Star-Shaped Confetti and Glitter Paper Star Shapes all over the table.

The Place Settings

The place settings at our Kids' Noon Year's Eve party were bright and cheery. First, I layered a Happy Day Paper Dinner Plate on top of a Gold Charger and then paired it with the coordinating Happy Day Paper Dessert Plates and Happy Day Luncheon Napkins. I also included a Light Blue Dinner Napkin and Yellow Plastic Fork & Spoon Cutlery Set. You simply can't have a Noon Year's Eve party without some confetti and noisemakers, so each place setting also got a Happy Day Hand Clapper, a Happy Day Confetti Popper and Fiesta Fringe Party Blowouts.

I also designed free printable bottle labels that I wrapped around Clear Glass Milk Bottles. For an added touch of whimsy and fun, I placed each bottle on a Happy Day Beverage Napkin and added a Yay Silly Plastic Straw.

Noon Year's Eve place setting and colorful pillow floor seating

I loved the idea of having pillows act as floor seating during parties. I used low, white tables and placed Large Blue Pillows, Jumbo Yellow Floor Pillows and Fiesta Tassel Pillows on the floor to create a comfy and relaxing environment.

Place setting with notebook favor

At each place setting I also displayed a Neon Spiral Notebook & Pen Set. I designed a free printable wrap for the cover of the notebook that read 'On the last day of the year, a new chapter is near!' I love this sentiment and the idea of a fresh start at the beginning of each new year.

Centerpiece with printable sign, confetti poppers, hand clappers and noisemakers

In the center of the table I created a centerpiece using a Large Clear Cylinder Plastic Container filled with Light Blue Metallic Shred, Happy Day Hand Clappers, and Happy Day Confetti Poppers. Next to the container, I placed an 8x10 printable sign that I designed. This free printable is a part of the full Printable Pack for this party. The sign read, 'Before the moon, let's celebrate at noon!'

Another highlight of our Noon Year's Eve party was celebrating with colorful Ribbon Sticks. We turned on some fun music and had a blast with an impromptu ribbon stick dance party!

Wishes for the new year sign and star cards

Before our Noon Year's Eve celebration came to a close, we had to spend a few moments making some wishes for the new year. I designed these sweet star printables so that we could all 'Wish Upon a Star' and write our hopes and aspirations for the year to come. The Tropical Tasseled Serving Tray worked perfectly to hold all the stars and Happy Day Sayings Pencils. I also included some Light Blue Metallic Shred for a bit of glitz!
