We're quickly hopping into spring, which means one of our favorite holidays is just around the corner! With Easter approaching, it's time to gather up all things pastel, sugar, and bunny related to create this deliciously darling Kids' Easter Peeps® Party! Inspired by one of the most popular candies on the market, this youthful and colorful Easter soiree has everything you'll need to get ready for Easter!
The Table:
The table was layered in a bright Yellow Plastic Tablecloth and topped with an Easter Pastel Polka Dots Tablecloth that we folded to serve as a table runner.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting consisted of a different square gold foiled Spring Pastel Dinner Plate.
Each Spring Pastel Dinner Plate was then topped with a patterned foil rimmed Pastel Paper Dessert Plate. We love how these coordinating plates look when stacked on top of one another!
Simple rainbow Peep place cards sat at each setting so guests could easily find their seats.
To the right of each place setting sat a gold foiled Spring Pastel Paper Cup, enhanced with a Pink and White Striped Paper Straw.
Each Pink and White Striped Paper Straw was accentuated by a coordinating pastel Peep that we cut out of paper.
To the left sat a petite party favor jar filled with chocolate candies. Each Mini Mason Jar Favor had a Peep bunny detail and contained Pink, Mint and Lavender Chocolate Shimmer Candies.
Each place setting was also adorned with a square gold foiled Pastel Luncheon Napkin topped with Gold Premium Cutlery.
The Centerpiece:
Our kid-friendly centerpiece not only looked fun, but could be interactive with lots of pastel Easter eggs for guests to open up.
In the center of the table sat a colorful and delicious buttercream frosted cake.
We of course had to add some sugary Peeps to the top of the cake to make sure it tied in with our whole party theme.
To each side of the Easter cake sat a White Table Frame with a Free Printable "Chillin' With My Peeps" Sign inside.
Lastly, at each end of the centerpiece sat a wood Easter Bunny Silhouette paired with darling Pink Easter Baskets filled with Plastic Pastel Easter Eggs.
The Backdrop and Buffet:
We wanted our kids to have plenty of fun, entertainment and treats throughout this party. Our buffet was full of all of those elements and more!
In the center of our buffet we displayed Pastel Easter Baskets full of Peep details and candy filled Plastic Pastel Easter Eggs to keep little ones busy.
Plenty of candy treats were available for kids to snack on including adorable Easter Bunny Lollipops.
Our party theme was completely inspired by Peeps® bunnies, so naturally we had to make sure the kids had plenty of those classic marshmallow treats to enjoy!
Peeps® bunnies were displayed on additional gold foiled Pastel Paper Dessert Plate so our guests could snack as they pleased.
To help clean up sticky fingers, extra square gold foiled Pastel Luncheon Napkins were available after snack time.
Gorgeous Speckled Easter Egg Topiaries graced the ends of our buffet and added a touch of Easter whimsy.
The Backdrop Banner:
To play off of the Peeps bunny theme, we knew we wanted to create a colorful Peep inspired banner to strung up along our wall over the buffet.
This DIY Peep Bunny Easter Banner is simply precious and includes a plethora of darling details including various colors of felt Peeps bunny silhouettes with Yarn Pom Pom Tails, Plastic Pastel Easter Eggs and brightly colored Paper Tassels.
The Activities and Crafts:
While everyone loves snacking on Easter sweets, we also wanted to keep our guests' hands and minds busy throughout the day.
Each guest had their very own DIY Who Eats the Peep Game to keep them entertained.
This Free Printable Game is perfect to keep kids occupied during Easter brunch or even in a classroom setting. After taking turns rolling a die, the first player to get three colors in a row gets to indulge in a sweet Peep treat! This fun Easter play on traditional bingo will keep kids entertained and engaged.
After game time, keep your younger guests busy by crafting up some fun! This DIY Easter Bunny Peep Suncatcher is a simple and fun way to stay busy.
Using contact paper, Tissue Paper, Craft Buttons, Heart Stickers, Yarn Pom Poms and more, each child can craft up their very own, unique DIY Easter Bunny Suncatcher!
