The best part about this art nook is that all the supplies can easily be organized. My kids know where to place the supplies when they are finished using them so that their crafting space doesn't become an eyesore in our home. I also made sure that all of the art supplies were washable so I could let the kids create without having to worry about messes.

I added white flower pots to each section so I my kids could store longer items in the tray.We then sorted paint brushes, markers, dot paints, kid scissors and colored pencils into each pot. We used these chalkboard clips to label the supply containers. I love the contrast of the bright and colorful supplies with the white storage pots and tray. kid's art supplies These bright mini pails are perfect for storing other fun art supplies. We filled them with pom poms, crayons, colorful craft sticks and washi tape. My kids love to craft with washi tape! kid's art supplies Look how pretty the mini pails are with all the colorful supplies! kid's art supplies If you plan on including paper at your art center make sure to use these large paper holders. They are big enough to hold 12" x 12" paper. We fill these with card stock and construction paper in our art nook. kid's art nook kid's wordart I wanted to create some inspiring art in this space and wanted to incorporate the words DREAM, IMAGINE, EXPLORE, and CREATE. I created this word art by simply printing out the Free Paint Chip Letter printable and trimming it to fit inside my frame.
