Be sure to check out all of the party details including DIY Kids' Jungle Helmets and our Rainforest Bird Adoption Center party activity. I also designed a full pack of Jungle Party Printables so you can put this party together in no time!
In planning this celebration, I wanted party guests to feel like they were stepping into a whimsical rainforest full of colorful animals and lots of fun! I started by designing a printable jungle themed birthday invitation. I love the idea of sending a themed invitation to get guests excited for the jungle adventure to come!
To create an instant 'wow' factor and transform the space into a wild jungle I used the Tropical Leaf Archway and 3D Tropical Plant Stand-Ups. These items are large and very impressive!
The Tropical Leaf Archway creates a perfect backdrop to frame the main party table. To add to the fun, I dangled Tropical Snake Hanging Swirl Decorations from the top of the archway. To enhance the backdrop even more, I added Artificial Tropical Leaves and Foil Leaf Cutouts on the back wall behind the archway.
To complete the look of the backdrop, I created a large printable sign for the center that read, "It's a Jungle Adventure! Get Wild!"
Before our little party adventurers got to their seats, they first had to find their personalized DIY Kids' Jungle Helmets. After all, you can't enter the jungle without the appropriate gear! This type of hat is also called a pith and is essential to any jungle adventure!
The Party Table
The main party table was encircled with a Grass Table Skirt with Banana Leaves. On the table I layered Palm Leaf Felt Placemats and Artificial Tropical Leaves under Sloth Treat Boxes and Green Treat Boxes. Next, I displayed cupcakes on the Tropical Tree Treat Stand. Beside the treat stand, I placed a Glass Jar Set with Green, Orange and Lime Sixlets Chocolate Candies. At the front of the table I placed a Tropical Animal Paper Platter filled with cookies.
Printable favor box tags and colorful cupcake picks added a personalized touch to our dessert table.
The Place Settings
The wild, whimsical and colorful atmosphere of this jungle party continued with themed place settings. At each place setting, I layered a Round Luau Fringe Placemat under a Tropical Party Paper Dinner Plate and Tropical Party Monkey Dessert Plate. I also added an adorable crocodile Tropical Paper Cup with Sleeve, as well as a Tropical Leaf-Shaped Luncheon Napkin, Lime Beverage Napkin, and Lime Green Plastic Cutlery. A Tropical Party Monkey-Shaped Treat Bag was also placed at each setting.
As a centerpiece, I arranged Palm Leaf Felt Placemats and Artificial Tropical Leaves under a Plush Tiger Prop and a printable sign that read, "Welcome to the Jungle." To the left and right of the centerpiece I also arranged Glass Milk Bottles with printable label wraps featuring various jungle animals.
For a fun little added touch, I also slid Leaf Headwreath and Wristlet Sets on the legs of each stool at the table. I loved how this brought the rainforest party theme to the seating as well!
Rainforest Bird Adoption Activity
Looking for a wild party activity? Try setting up a Rainforest Bird Adoption Center! The 3D Tropical Plant Stand-Ups created a perfect backdrop for our adoption center. Instruct each party guest to select a Tropical Stuffed Bird, give it a name, and fill out the adoption certificate. With Pop-Arty Beads they can easily make a necklace for their new feathered friend as well as themselves! See all of the steps to create a Rainforest Bird Adoption Center here!
