Get ready to celebrate your favorite mommy-to-be and her upcoming bundle of joy with this cute as can be Jungle Baby Shower! This gender neutral theme is perfect for those couples waiting patiently to find out if they're having a boy or girl and includes a fabulous DIY Centerpiece, delicious Animal Print Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a Free Printable Baby Shower Game!
When guests arrived they were greeted with our Don't Say Baby Game! Each person has to take an animal print-covered clothespin and pin it to their clothing and then try not to say the word "baby" for the remainder of the baby shower. If you hear someone say the word "baby," you take their clothespin and pin it on yourself. Whoever ends up with the most clothespins at the end of the party wins! You can find our instructions for this game and the free Don't Say Baby Game Printable here!
After learning the rules to the game, it was time to enjoy some sweets at our dining table. The table was filled with a plethora of cute jungle baby shower decor that brought our theme to life!
First, we set the table with a Jungle Baby Shower Plastic Table Cover. We then folded a Lime Green Plastic Table Cover and added some Burlap Scalloped Bulletin Board Border as trim and used it as a table runner.
A tissue centerpiece from the Jungle Baby Shower Decorating Kit was placed on a white cake stand and used as the focal point for the table.
The centerpiece was flanked by two cute jungle animal stand-ups from the Jungle Baby Shower Centerpiece and two small glass vases filled with White and Blue Chocolate Candies that housed yummy Frosted Jungle Safari Animal Lollipops.
Each place setting was layered with a Round Luau Fringe Placemat, Paradise Safari Square Dinner Plate, a Jungle Baby Shower Dinner Plate and then a Jungle Baby Shower Dessert Plate atop two Tropical Leaves.
We just can't get enough of the adorable designs on these plates!
The place settings were completed with a Jungle Baby Shower Luncheon Napkin, a Lemon Yellow Fork and a water bottle adorned in Personalized Jungle Baby Shower Water Bottle Labels.
Our mommy-to-be and all her friends enjoyed some jungle themed sweets from our decked out dessert table. We decorated the front of the table using a jungle leaf banner from the Jungle Baby Shower Decorating Kit and added in a few more stand-ups from the Jungle Baby Shower Centerpiece. We love all of the different animal cut-outs in the Jungle Baby Shower Centerpiece and think they could also be reused as nursery decor on a bookshelf or nightstand!
We created a DIY Centerpiece using a White Card Box, Burlap Scalloped Bulletin Board Border and Burlap Bulletin Board Letters. You can find the full step-by-step tutorial here!
We made Animal Print Chocolate Covered Strawberries by dipping fresh strawberries in various shades of melting chocolate and decorating them to resemble popular jungle animals. These berries were super simple to make and added the cutest detail to our dessert table. You can find our full recipe here!
We purchased Zebra Cakes® from our local grocery store and placed them in Jungle Baby Shower Cupcake Liners and displayed them on Jungle Baby Shower Cupcake Stands. These Cupcake Stands were not only functional, but served as party decor too!
Our dessert table stood in front of a backdrop filled with Jungle Baby Shower Hanging Decor, jungle leaves from the Jungle Baby Shower Centerpiece and the adorable Jungle Baby Shower Garland. All of these pieces were simply taped to the wall making this a simple, themed backdrop.
