Nautical themed parties are currently all the rage , so we were more than thrilled to style this adorable nautical themed baby shower! With an array of preppy nautical products and a few simple DIY's, our nautical baby shower was ready to sail the high seas!
Creating the Look Our dining table was outfitted in a crisp white linen, Light BlueTablecloth Roll, red satin table runners and a Personalized Navy Table Runner. We love layering colors and textures to add a bit of dimension to the table.
The centerpiece included a Red Metal Lanterns, Nautical Centerpiece & Quart Ball Mason Jars adorned with Natural Cording and filled with fresh babie's breath. The mason jars sat atop an anchor beverage napkin which was set on silver painted DIY Wood Trays. This was a simple and inexpensive way to bring a bit of color and nautical decor to our table! Each place setting included a Round Metallic Silver Dinner Plate, Red Dessert Plate, anchors beverage napkins and our DIY nautical cupcake place setting atop a nautical striped napkin. We just loved using the Chevron Red & BluePails as our cupcake holders! They added such a fun pop of color and pattern to the table!
The Birthday Sailor Mini Popcorn Boxes were trimmed to make perfectly petite cupcake wrappers. And our DIY nautical sailboat cupcake toppers, with the addition of an Anchor Charm, were a cute way to add a nautical detail to our store bought cupcakes. See how to make this project.
We rolled a Royal Blue Fork was rolled in an harbor luncheon napkin and cinched with an Under the Sea Napkin Ring.
Each guest enjoyed our nautical Mojito mocktail which was served in Bell Jelly Jars, adorned in Natural Cording and sipped through a silver striped paper straw with a chic Anchor Charm detail. We love the idea of serving a mock tail at a baby shower so even the mommy-to-be can enjoy the beverage of choice!
Our rustic, wooden chairs were decorated with a Large White Anchor Tote Bag; filled with a fresh bouquet of babie's breath for each party guest to take home.
In addition to the tote bag, each guest would also take & enjoy our DIY nautical themed sugar scrub favor. Because who doesn't enjoy a little pampering now and then! The sugar scrub was housed in Bell Jelly Jars detailed with Natural Cording, Red Baker's Twine and topped with a sailboat image from the Birthday Sailor Mini Popcorn Boxes. Learn how to make the sugar scrub here.
Our favor display sat aside a lovely bunch of babies' breath inside a DIY Large Silver Tin Pail; adorned in blue and white striped ribbon and 3D Self-Adhesive Lowercase Alphabet Script Stickers to spell out ahoy!
The sweets on our table included a delicious two-tiered cake topped with our DIY nautical cake bunting made out of flag ribbon cardstock, natural cording, anchor charms and silver striped paper straws. And nautical cake bags were placed with the cake so each guest could take a slice home for later!
A sweet popcorn mix with sparkling powder blue chocolate candies was served in Birthday Sailor Mini Popcorn Boxes and topped with Anchor Stir Sticks. We just love snacks that are easy to take and mingle with while at the party!
To bring in even more nautical themed decor, our dessert table was decorated with Natural Fish Nets, a blue painted DIY wood anchor and a Nautical Anchor Garland.
A Nautical Pennant Garland and Life Preserver Wall Decoration served as the perfect background decor while an array of Red Chevron Lanterns and Nautical Baby Shower Paper Lanterns added a bit of sea-inspired style to the bottom of our table.
Any mommy-to-be would be happy to celebrate her upcoming bundle of joy with such a stylish sea-inspired soiree! Be sure to check out all the projects and recipe that are in our nautical baby shower here: the Mojito Mocktail, Nautical Cake Bunting, Sugar Scrub Favor, and Cupcake Place Setting.
