Haunted Ghost Town Halloween Party

If you love Western-themed parties like I do, I have the perfect Halloween party idea for you! Change things up a bit this year and host a Haunted Ghost Town Halloween Party for family and friends of all ages. I'm excited to share how you can combine traditional Halloween decorations with Western-themed decor and costumes for a unique Halloween celebration!

Setting The Scene

Set the stage with easy-to-set-up Western-themed backdrops. I hung a Western wood backdrop for a classic Western saloon setting. I also hung a saloon sign that I made with paint and Burlap Garland as part of the backdrop. You know you can't have a Haunted Ghost Town without a few spooky inhabitants. I dressed up a couple of Poseable Skeletons in a Saloon Gal Costume and Cowboy Halloween Costume. Don't they look dapper? The Saloon Gal hung out by the "bar" with a fun Skeleton Iguana prop and lots of spider webs. Haunted Ghost Town Halloween Party Decorations

The Props

I set up a Jail Cell Photo Cardboard Stand Up and a set of Tombstone Cardboard Stand Ups to set the stage for the Standing Light-Up Cowboy Ghost. Adding webs and chains transformed a normal Western scene into a Haunted Ghost Town in just minutes! And the Skelton Vulture added an extra haunted element. Haunted Ghost Town Halloween Party Props

Party Table

For the party table, I made Haunted Ghost Town Wall Decor and DIY Aged Saloon Bottles for props. I put out a set of mason jars for drinks along with my Aged Barrel Drink Dispenser.

Lighting is a must-have at any Halloween shindig. I added green LEDs to a set of Spooky Halloween Lanterns that I accented with spider webs, paint and Mod Podge. Haunted Ghost Town Halloween Party Every ghost town needs a creepy sheriff! I set up another skeleton on top of a Collapsible Faux Hay Bale at the guest table along with a few more Spooky Dripping Candle Holders.
