This Happy Birthday Jesus Party Family Tradition is one activity that your kids will look forward to year after year. It's wonderful for families, playdates or church celebrations!
To set up for this party I began by placing a bright white tablecloth on the table because it's the perfect backdrop to the colorful and cheerful Happy Birthday Jesus tableware set and decorations. I created a table runner by arranging strips of ribbon down the center of the table in a variety of colors and textures.
I chose to keep the place settings simple and bright by placing a piece of 12x12 cardstock in coordinating red and blue underneath the Happy Birthday Jesus plates and napkins.
Next to each plate I put a Happy Birthday Jesus card or activity books to color and a package of party crayons.
Adding a colorful paper straw to each coordinating party animal cup added the perfect touch. Aren't those cups the cutest?
I whipped up a batch of homemade vanilla cupcakes and baked them in blue, green and red Christmas cupcake liners. The cupcakes made an excellent and tasty centerpiece. I loved how they were displayed on a beautiful metal tiered cupcake stand.
Decorating cupcakes with colorful sprinkles and singing Happy Birthday was definitely a highlight of the Happy Birthday Jesus party!
I filled darling goody bags with Happy Birthday Jesus themed bouncy balls, necklaces, bubbles, puzzles, and snap bracelets for a special surprise.
I placed the filled goody bags in a metal basket and put them on a white cake stand.
Play a fun game like the Happy Birthday Jesus Bean Bag Toss Game to entertain the kids.
Next to the table I set up a beautiful wooden Nativity set which was perfect to act out the nativity story with while reading it aloud together.
Beside the Nativity I set up the My Gift to Jesus Sign so each family member could reflect on and write down what they wanted to give to Jesus.
