Do you have a little ghoul or goblin that will be celebrating a birthday around Halloween? Then you don't want to miss this "Happy Birthday, Boo!" Halloween Birthday Party! From a wicked awesome Haunted Halloween Cupcake Display to creepy cool Haunted House Place Cards for each guest, this spooktacular soiree is packed to the brim with all of the essentials to make this Halloween party the best birthday ever for your little one. We've even included a DIY Halloween party game to ensure that this celebration is just as fun as it is cute!
The backdrop we created for this celebration really sets the stage for a spooktacular party! We created a "Happy Birthday" banner out of purple cardstock and used the "Boo" balloons from the Boo Bat Mylar Balloon Garland to serve as the festive focal point of the party. The "Happy Birthday" template can be downloaded here.
A combination of Basic Boo Hanging Fans and My Mind's Eye Black Hanging Fans, along with Ghost Mylar Balloons, the bat balloons from the Boo Bat Mylar Balloon Garland, and elements from the Basic Boo Photo Stick Props were arranged around the text to create a frightfully fun Halloween backdrop.
The Halloween treats were showcased in the cutest DIY Haunted Halloween Cupcake Stand! We completely transformed a DIY Flower Box into this amazing centerpiece, and we just love how it turned out! We used the cupcake liners and decorative Halloween picks from the Basic Boo Cupcake Kit to jazz up chocolate donut holes and orange "pumpkin" cupcakes. To add a spooky effect, we added some Stretchy White Spider Webs for good measure.
We layered Basic Boo Paper Dinner Plates and Black Overlapping Chevron Plates on the dessert table for the kiddos to use for their treats. Green Moss, Scary Spiders, Deluxe Creepy Cloth Halloween Decoration and Basic Boo Halloween Centerpieces finished off the dessert table decor perfectly.
Black Latex Balloons with Silver Stars were the perfect complement to this hauntingly happy birthday celebration, so we scattered them on the floor beneath the dessert table, along with Silver Latex Balloons, and used them to create a visual transition from the dessert table to the dining table.
We began styling our dinner table by covering our table with a Pewter Metallic Polyester Tablecloth. We layered more of the Deluxe Creepy Cloth Halloween Decoration that we used on the dessert table down the center of the dining table.
Each place setting consisted of a Basic Boo Paper Dessert Plate layered on top of a My Mind's Eye Black Scalloped Paper Dinner Plate. Basic Boo Beverage Napkins, White Paper Cups, Basic Boo Paper Straws with Cutouts and White Premium Plastic Forks completed the setting at each seat.
We reserved a special seat at our table for each guest, and marked it with the most adorable little Haunted House Place Cards that you ever did see! Each DIY Unfinished Wood Haunted House Stand-Up was transformed with a fascinating acrylic paint marbling technique, then customized with American Crafts Thickers 3D Sprinkles Black Glitter Alphabet Stickers to spell out each guest's name.
White pumpkins were arranged down the center of the table, along with Green Moss and the third house from the Basic Boo Centerpiece set to create the dining table centerpiece.
To keep the kiddos entertained, we created a Ghost Bag Toss Party Game for them to play. We used black foam board, white art paper and a Vintage Halloween Plastic Tablecloth to create the game board, then provided the kiddos with Halloween Plush Emojis to toss into the ghost's mouth. When the party was over, guests could take home the plush toys as party favors.
Can we all pretend that our birthdays are at Halloween time so that we can have this adorable little Halloween Birthday Party for ourselves? It's just so cute!
