We LOVE October at our house. It is the most fun month in our family with birthdays, fall activities, sports, and of course Halloween festivities. One of our favorite Halloween traditions is to have a Halloween Family Dinner Party on Halloween night. Sometimes we do it before trick-or-treating, and sometimes late at night after the kids' bags are full of candy. Either way, it's a fun time that bring us all together to celebrate the last little bit of October. I'm so excited about the tablescape, decor, recipes and ideas for our Halloween Night Family Dinner Party this year. I love how it has an elegant feel with pops of black and white and gold! The little touches like the fang place cards and the spooky tree conversation centerpiece make for more visual interest at our table.
We started by hanging a "Happy Halloween" banner for our back drop. The foundation of the tablescape is a white tablecloth. Add black and white striped table runners over your table. I like adding three so each table setting is on top of the runner. It makes the table settings pop! Layer your settings...start with a gold charger, add a black dinner plate and top that off with a black and white striped dessert plate. It just looks so pretty all together with the gold and black!
Try adding white pumpkins to these spider web baskets. You could also use the spider web baskets for bread or rolls.
Spooky Tree Conversation Centerpiece This was one of my favorite projects this fall. You can find all the details and fun Halloween conversation starters HERE. These thought provoking conversation starters are especially fun for Halloween. They will get your guests talking and laughing throughout dinner.
Fang Place Cards These "fangtastic" place cards are perfect to make for your Halloween Night Family Dinner Party. They allow each guest to have a special place at the dining table. Each fang place card sits atop a mini black cupcake stand. You can find details on how to make these spooky place cards HERE.
Brownie Parfaits These sweet brownie parfaits are the perfect treat to make ahead. Serve them in a plastic wine glasses with spiders on top and guests will think they took hours to make. Little do they know its the easiest recipe ever. You can find details HERE.
The spiders on top of the brownie parfait fit in so well with our spooky chic dinner theme.
These LED drip candles are the perfect touch to pull out for a Halloween dinner. I love how they look at night. We also light up the tea lights in the spooky tree cauldrons. Dinner by candlelight is the best, especially on Halloween!
Don't forget to add black napkins and gold cutlery to finish out your Halloween tablescape. Thanks for letting me share this pretty Halloween Night Family Dinner Party with you today! I hope you can make some special memories with your family this season.
