Guacamole Bar Summer Fiesta

Guacamole Bar Summer Fiesta

Guac may be extra, but so is this celebration with fun avocado-themed decorations and a guacamole bar loaded with fresh toppings. This is one summer fiesta you won't want to miss, so grab your friends and get ready to set up the ultimate DIY guacamole bar!

Guacamole Bar Party Ideas

If you're anything like me, you know that it's true, happiness is chips and guacamole. This is exactly why I decided to create a summer party with chips and guacamole as the star. I love a good fiesta and a guacamole bar seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the warmer weather and summer sunshine!

Rather than planning a big meal, I decided to create the ultimate snack station poolside where guests can create their own unique guacamole flavor combinations. With a huge variety of fixings, guests can choose sweet, savory and spicy toppings to create their own guacamole.

Happiness is Chips and Guacamole

I wanted this party to feel a little like a tropical vacation, so I set it up by our pool and hung lots of colorful decorations. I hung the Fiesta Fringe Banner across the pool and added Fiesta Honeycomb Hanging Decorations with Tassel to the trees.

I covered the table with the Pink, Orange and Yellow Tassel Table Skirt to quickly add a pop of color. I layered it with a DIY Avocado Banner because, after all, avocados are the star of the show.

The Fiesta Fringe Tabletop Stand added just the right amount of height to the guacamole bar. I also added the free printable Happiness is Chips and Guacamole sign along with colorful bowls filled with salsas and guacamole to the table setting.

Guacamole Bar Toppings

I filled mini square appetizer bowls with additional toppings for guests to create their own guacamole. When it comes to toppings be sure to include a variety of toppings and don't be afraid to stray from the normal elements you'd find in guacamole. Use the free printable Guacamole Bar Food Tent Labels to help guests identify the ingredients. Some of the toppings we included were pineapple, mango, cilantro, tomatoes, bacon, chorizo, onions, jalapeños, pepitas, and corn.

Guests can fill the chips and dip bowls with chips and their custom guacamole so they can easily snack poolside. Fill a basket with colorful Fiestaware inspired paper plates and Fiesta Cactus Embossed Napkins so guests can quickly assemble their guacamole creations.
