Sure, you could have just a regular ol' ugly sweater party, but why not get all your Whos together for a Grinch-themed ugly sweater party! We wanted to be sure the whole family was included in the our Grinch party festivities, so we added a fun kids' table to the mix.
To add a bit of Seuss-inspired whimsy, we styled the Grinch party kids' table with fun, colorful decor. Begin decorating by making a quick table runner from a lime paper roll, cut to fit the table.

Scallop cut the edge of 12x18 sheets of red construction paper that have been backed with Gold Glitter Contact Paper Roll. Glue some Glitter Pom-poms to the scallops to make fun placemats for your Dr. Seuss The Grinch Paper Dinner Plates. Twist Christmas Chenille Stems around the utensils for easy and whimsical napkin rings.

Recreate the Grinch's sleigh with these simple Grinch DIY for Christmas sled favors. Use acrylic paint and a flat-bristled paintbrush to paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Sleds. While the sleighs are drying, fill the Mini Heart Canvas Drawstring Treat Bags with little Grinch-themed toys and holiday candies. Once the paint is dry on the sleds, tie the filled treat bag onto the sled with Natural Jute Cording. Now to the heart of the Grinchmas party, the food buffet table. Our Dr. Suess The Grinch Cardboard Stand-up is up to no good stealing the Merry Grinchmas Garland from our table but we sure hope he has a change of heart! We began the food buffet table decorations by covering the table with a red tablecloth and then creating a fun backdrop.
To make the backdrop, we hung a length of light blue paper roll, plus an orange plastic table roll and a Vickerman 24" Durango Spruce Wreath, which we embellished with DIY pink cardstock 'Merry' signs.

To get our Grinchy drink on, we spray painted two large Centerpiece Risers, filled two Beverage Dispensers with yummy green party drinks; one spiked and the other not. We stuck Heart Cutouts on the drink containers and used a Sharpie® Marker to label each one. We continued the Grinch theme by including Clear Glass Milk Bottles with Striped Straws and Dr. Seuss The Grinch Cups with Straws on the table for our guests.

Behind the utensil holder, we propped up a decorated flowerbox to act as a riser for our candy jars. We filled Large Clear Cylinder Jars with Sixlets® Green Chocolate Candy, Red Foil-Wrapped Milk Chocolate Hearts, and Light Green Rock Candy Lollipops.
Cupcakes are a great dessert for any party, but work especially when little ones are invited. We decorated store-bought cupcakes with green gel decorator frosting and easy DIY foam picks. To make your own picks, simply place a wooden toothpick onto the back of Dr. Seuss The Grinch Self Adhesive Shapes and stick into your cupcakes. Serve your cupcakes on a Craft Tray for some added color.
This Grinch-tastic guacamole makes the perfect party treat. Embellish your guac with a heart cut from a red bell pepper for an extra bit of Grinchyness.
Your guests can easily help themselves to yummy holiday treats with this Dr. Seuss The Grinch Treat Stand. We filled ours with delicious white cheddar flavored popcorn, but you can fill it with all sorts of yummy snacks.
Don't forget to set up a voting station to determine who has the ugliest sweater! Adding a table just for ugly sweater voting is a great way to make voting easy. Decorate the table with a lime green tablecloth and DIY Bead and Pom Holiday Garland.

To make the photo booth, simply hang streamers of all colors onto your wall, overlapping a few of them. Top the streamers with a sheet of lime green paper and a Max the Dog Cut-out.
