Metallic gold fringe, grass and eggs are the stars of this bright & modern Easter Tablescape. Simply sprinkle these fabulous gold elements across an array of colorful Easter decor then add in some spring grass elements, and you have the perfect palette for a joyful and entertaining Easter soirée. We made it easy for you to recreate this look for your next Easter gathering, just follow along below!
I began with laying Grass Mats down the middle of the table to create a runner. Tip: Scrunch the mats to give them a natural look. I don't know about you, but I keep my egg containers, they are great for kids crafts at home and I removed the tops and painted them white to create this rainbow egg filled centerpiece.
Lay the containers down the middle of the grass. Then fill the containers by color blocking in the order of the rainbow using Bulk Pastel Plastic Easter Eggs. I used the Purple & Pink plastic egg sets that come in ombre to give each rainbow color a beautiful graduation. The Golden Metallic Eggs elevate the runner with a pop of gold between each color.
I used this color blocking technique for the place settings, picking bold yellow, pink and blue as the main color components to compliment the gold. First I used the Full Color Spectrum Paper Pack to create place mats, cutting them to fit.
Layering the plates on top of this, a stripe followed by an alternate bright yellow, pink or blue solid color plate. Then adding a Gold Metallic Stripe Beverage Napkin on top.
Mason jars make great cups for all ages, I added Gold Foil Striped Paper Straws to bring more gold to the table. Slip some Happy Easter Tattoos under the glass for kids to use or adults to take home to the kids, either way its another fun pop of Easter color to the place setting.
On top of each place setting I used a DIY Unfinished Wood Egg Cup painted to match the plate below and filled it with a Gold Metallic Egg.
Finally, I used the Wood Cutlery Set with gold.
Popcorn is always a popular snack for all ages, fill Pink Plastic Scallop Containers with popcorn, add a strip of gold metallic ribbon and place on the table. I then added Gold Metallic Bead Necklaces around the table to give an added dash of glam!
Have you tried pop it's yet? I'm kind of addicted myself! The Rainbow Bunny Lotsa Pops are the perfect color palette and addition to the table decor. Bonus points for keeping kids entertained at the table!
Add some Stacking Eggs Pencils for doodling on place mats!
My favorite part of this colorful, bling-tastic party set-up is the honeycomb egg backdrop. I created an egg shape using yellow, blue and pink honeycombs. Only open the base honeycombs half way and attach to the wall using removable glue dots or adhesive strips.
Then use glue dots to layer additional fully open honeycombs and Easter Honeycomb Eggs. Aren't they the cutest?!
Across the top of the honeycombs I strung up Gold Tinsel Garland (Tip: Trim this a little shorter, so you can still see the honeycombs) and created garlands out of the Gold Metallic Beads Necklaces.
Under the backdrop I set up tables filled with Easter treats and goodies, including Jelly Beach Totes which make the cutest Easter baskets.
For each child, I filled either a Personalized Pink Ginormous Easter Egg or a Personalized Blue Ginormous Easter Egg with bags of Assorted Cotton Candy, a fan favorite in our house!
The baskets were filled with Metallic Gold Shred and ALL the rainbow goodies! More tattoos, pop its, pencils in addition to Swirl Pops, Rainbow Bunny Sunglasses, Rainbow Rubber Bunny Bracelets, and Easter Egg Necklaces.
Hop on into a glam, modern gold & color blocked Easter celebration your guests are bound to love!
