This beautiful, minimalistic bridal shower celebrates nature's elegance, and flirts with the trends that brides are loving right now. Gold geometric elements add a modern, stylish vibe to the space, while white balloons and flowing botanicals create a stunning backdrop. On-trend Modern Hoop Wreath Place Cards and a show-stopping Gold Botanical Wreath add personalized touches to the shower to make it extra special, and you don't want to miss the Herb-Pressed Biscuits that we created for this botanical bash. They are scrumptious...and so pretty!
This bridal shower is absolutely stunning and perfect for the modern bride who's interested in the latest style trends. If you've opened up any bridal magazine lately then you've seen an abundance of eucalyptus, gold geometrics, and anemones. We used those elements as the foundation for this on-trend, stylish shower, incorporating our own unique twists.
In those same bridal magazines (and all over Pinterest), you may have also seen an abundance of gorgeous wooden tables that are making their way onto the wedding scene. They're so remarkable! Let's be honest, though. Not everyone has one of those spectacular tables on hand.
Well, I'm gonna share a secret with you. You can get that exact look...the look of that rustic, weathered wood...without actually owning one of those tables.
With some scissors and a little tape, this Pacon® Fadeless® Weathered Wood Paper Roll will transform any table into an authentic-looking wood table. The table you see in these pics is just a plain, boring banquet table. But, with this paper wrapped around it, it totally looks like a wood table, right? (You just took a second look at the pictures, didn't you)? It's magic paper, y'all. Definitely worth having!
Now that you have a brand new table (or at least what feels like one), it's time to take it to the next level! Simple, lightweight fabric serves as the foundation for our table runner. Drape the fabric imperfectly down the length of the table, allowing it to flow down the sides and puddle onto the floor. I used a long white curtain sheer that I had on hand for this, but any light, flowing fabric will work.
Lay some Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland lengthwise down the runner, bending the limbs a bit to give it some volume. Next, place candles in Gold-Flecked Mercury Votive Holders and a Gold Geometric Terrarium Candle Holder and arrange them down the center of the table. Fresh flowers tucked inside Round Gold Mercury Bud Vases complete the centerpiece and add some height to the table.
White Plastic Dinner Plates with Gold Edging are perfect for this theme and showcase these DIY Modern Hoop Wreath Place Cards beautifully! Aren't they impressive?!! Get step-by-step instructions for this stylish place card idea here.
Next, unfold White Marble Beverage Napkins with Foil by one fold, then place under each plate, allowing them to drape down the table at each seat. Premium Plastic Gold Cutlery and Premium Plastic Gold Dot Champagne Flutes finish off each place setting.
Let's talk about that statement-making balloon installation, shall we? It's simple, but wow, what an impression it makes! To create it, simply string White 11" Balloons together using a needle and fishing line. Use a low-temp hot glue gun to add smaller White 5" Latex Balloons and sprigs of eucalyptus cut from more of the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland to the balloon garland, then secure the fishing line ends to Command Hooks® on the wall.
We just love the warm, cozy ambiance that candlelight provides, so we used more of the Gold-Flecked Mercury Votive Holders that we used on the dining table on the food table, as well. A Gold Trim Open Top Terrarium and the second Gold Geometric Terrarium Candle Holder from the set we mentioned earlier lend perfectly to the "gold geo" theme, and are great decor pieces to balance out the food table. The terrariums are not able to hold water for fresh plants, so faux Frosted Greenery Stems cut into small pieces are awesome for tucking inside and enhancing the "botanical" side of the theme. Personalized touches are always so special, so adding a few framed pics of the bride-to-be with her soon-to-be hubby on the table is surefire way to induce some swoons.
The cake for this bridal shower is super simple: pure white with delicate florals on top. Arranging a few additional flowers and greenery at the bottom of the cake is really all that is needed to make it look magnificent without being overpowering.
Now for the delicious part...those Herb-Pressed Biscuits. Y'all. I can still smell their heavenly aroma and taste every buttery bite. Not only do they complement this theme harmoniously, they are so darn good!!! Just serve them with your favorite jams for a crowd pleasing treat. Get the mouthwatering recipe for these incredible biscuits here. Make sure to display them on this Long White Platter.
Of course, no celebration is complete without chocolate, so tucking some Gold Foil-Wrapped Milk Chocolate Hearts inside Lace Print Snack Cones is a perfect take home gift for guests.
A bar cart is a great place to store the beverages, extra napkins, additional champagne flutes, and chocolate! A few White 5" Latex Balloons and Gold Glitter & White Tissue Balls help to dress up the cart a bit and tie the space together. Tossing a few tissue balls around the base of the food table looks great, too!
A stunning DIY Gold Geometric Wreath hanging above the bar cart is an excellent way to incorporate more personalization into the party! It's a unique and lovely way to display pictures of the happy couple, and it's just so charming! Get the step-by-step instructions for the DIY Gold Geometric Wreath here.
I hope that these ideas have inspired you to host a Botanical Bridal Shower for your soon-to-be bride, and I hope this post has made the planning process a little bit easier for you. Happy Celebrating!
