We don't know about you, but as little girls we were obsessed with dinosaurs! We wanted to take our passion for these prehistoric creatures and transform it into a glam and gorgeous party fit for the girliest Jurassic lover! Bursting with gold glittering dinosaurs, pretty pastels and a few dino-mite DIY projects, these aroarable dinosaur party ideas will never go extinct!
Our ferociously feminine dinosaur-inspired table was clad in a pallet of pink, mint, white and gold with hints of polka dots to bring in a youthful, modern touch.
Our place settings were made up of a square fresh mint dinner plate, layered with a candy pink and gold foil polka dot beverage napkin and topped with a white and gold foil polka dot dessert plate that we detailed with a gold, glittering brontosaurus made from gold glitter contact paper.
You can print and trace the plate decal using our free dinosaur shape printable template! A clear plastic dessert plate was placed on top of the dinosaur-inspired plate to make them food friendly!
A light pink premium fork was placed to the side of the setting while a glass milk carafe was detailed with a tiny triceratops decal also made out of gold glitter contact paper. The triceratops shape is also available on our free printable!
Guests sipped our delicious strawberry kiwi punch from pink chevron paper straws.
Square faux greenery mats were cut down to size and used as a table runner and home to our DIY Dinosaur Centerpiece.
This might be one of our most favorite centerpiece projects of all time! We simply painted a Wildlife Wow! Trex with gold spray paint, added some gold glitteriffic paint and then topped this glamorous beast with a faux floral collar and darling, miniature party hat that is made using this free printable.

Two Wildlife Wow! Triceratops friends were painted and outfitted with florals and joined our centerpiece party.
We included our DIY Fizzy Fossil Dinosaur Eggs as part of our table decor as well.
These dinosaur eggs are made from a simple concoction of baking soda, water and pink food coloring and each holds a tiny, pearlized squishy dinosaur inside! As a fun party activity, the kids could pour small amounts of vinegar onto the eggs and discover the surprise inside. They will love becoming real life paleontologists! The focal point of our party was this amazing backdrop constructed out of Square faux greenery mats . The mats' interlocking system makes this a breeze put together and hang.
We then painted a Jointed Dino Dig Cardboard Cutout gold and detailed her with a color coordinating floral collar and her very own party hat made out of white and gold polka dot cardstock and topped with a tiny, fuschia pom-pom.
The backdrop was surrounded by a fun and fabulous balloon arch. Using a balloon decorating strip and a hand-held balloon pump made this balloon installation a cinch to put together.
We used a mix of pastel party latex balloons, pink pearl balloons, white latex balloons, diamond clear latex balloons and gold confetti latex balloons. We love the variety of color it brought to our dino-riffic dessert table.
Vanilla cupcakes were wrapped in gold foil cupcake wrappers and topped with brontosaurus cut outs made from more white and gold polka dot cardstock.
Mini mint popcorn boxes were detailed with gold, glittering triceratops decals and filled with white chocolate funfetti popcorn. This was a quick and yummy snack that the kids all loved!
They also loved that we had two dinosaurs watching over and protecting this delectable treat!
Our Rice Krispies Treat Dinosaur Eggs were by far the favorite sweet of the day.
We took a classic Rice Krispies treat recipe, added pink food coloring and then molded the rice crispy treats into egg shape and display them on a rectangular gold serving plate lined with fresh mint and gold foil polka dot beverage napkins.
