Creative Classroom Decor
Your classroom will be transformed to a sugar sweet place in an instant with these fun decor items. This Gingerbread Man Garland doubles as a bulletin board boarder while the large and in charge Gingerbread Man Cardboard Stand-Up welcomes your kids to the land of winter sweets and treats. Adding in simple decor items is the quickest way to really transform your classroom for a holiday party.
We started setting our tables by putting red gingham plastic tablecloth on each table. Laying down plastic tablecloths ensures that all work surfaces stay clean during the party while also making the room look bright and cheery. Next, we added in a few evergreen trees like these Hanging Paper Lantern Trees.

Having the Gingerbread Man Cardboard Stand-Up front and center makes this party feel so magical. The stand-up also doubles as a photo backdrop for students during your party.
We set out Gingerbread treat boxes on the tables for the kids to keep all the games and treats they gathered throughout the party. These Gingerbread treat boxes are a great way to store and send things home with the kids right before the holidays. They also made for amazing table decorations. We love when things are practical but also double as decoration!
Simple Party Treats
When it came to treats for this classroom party we decided to go pretty simple. We used plastic Gingerbread Man Mugs and filled them with marshmallow packs and Gingerbread Swirl Lollipops. Make to have each child write their name on the mugs when your holiday party starts.
Themed Activities
If you have enough students and space, set up four different centers so kids can rotate through them during the party. If you have a smaller class size you can work through each activity together as a whole group. The first activity we did with the kids was to make these adorable Gingerbread House chair backers. The kids were able to use foam shapes to make their own gingerbread houses. If you don't want to use the gingerbread houses as chair backers, you can just have the kids use them as place mats.
Next, let the kids get up and move around with this adorable Gingerbread Man Scavenger Hunt Game. We've done all the hard work for you with our Free Printable Hunt Cards. Simply print out the cards then hide them around the room for students to find later! A great tip is to laminate the cards so you can use them year after year.
Teach patterns in a fun way with a Gingerbread Pattern Activity! Let little ones create 4 different patterns with adorable Gingerbread Foam Self-Adhesive Stickers. When you purchase the Gingerbread Foam Self-Adhesive Stickers, you'll get a bunch of different designs and shapes. This will make it even more fun for the kids to sort and find the right stickers for the patterns.
Kids will love working on pattern sorting with this adorable Gingerbread Man Fishing Game. Each of the Mini Gingerbread Men will have one of four designs on his body, which the kids will have to sort once they "catch" the gingerbread men. This is a fun and simple game that also helps with coordination.
