Geometric Heart Themed Bridal Shower

Geometric Heart Themed Bridal Shower

Say "I do" to hearts. Embrace sweet romance by using the symbol of love in your bridal shower decor. Use geometric hearts with pale pinks, pops of red and a splash of gold for a stylish modern look.

These tones make a bold, romantic statement while adding warmth to your look. I adore the soft pinks and this color palette just makes me think of LOVE! Add in a floral wall, on-trend hoops and a chic bar cart and you have a stunning, yet intimate, bridal shower.

Dreamy Tables:

Set the scene for your romantic bridal shower by scattering red & pink heart shaped rose petals down the center of each table.

On top of the hearts, I used the Gold Calligraphy Love Sign, which is wide enough to sit on the table top. Add a small piece of removable mounting putty to secure firmly.

To either end of the "Love", florals. These are a must for this color palette. I filled two Wide White Ceramic Vases with Gold Trim with pale pink carnations and baby's breath. This floral design fits perfectly with the color blocked vases.

Finally, don't forget the romantic lighting. I added brass candlesticks with white taper candles and gold-flecked mercury votive holders next to each vase.

Thoughtful Place Settings:

I wanted each place setting to have a sweet, romantic feel. I used a White Premium Plastic Dinner Plates With Rose Gold Edging as a charger, layered with Light Pink Paper Dessert Plates and Ivory Premium Plastic Dessert Plates With Gold Border.

On top of each set, I added a small, mini naked cake on top of a cupcake stand. Each one was topped with a single red carnation and juicy red raspberry. The definition of sweet!

Resting alongside each place setting I used Premium Metallic Gold Cutlery, on top of a Light Pink Dinner Napkin. I then added a thoughtful surprise from the happy couple-to-be. A small White Gold Heart Goody Bag with a Personalized Heart-Shaped Initial Sticker added to the front of the bag.

I snipped off the rounded edges of this sticker to create a geometric heart. Find all the details for this technique in my DIY Hoop & Hearts Seating Chart tutorial.

Each bag is the perfect size to hold sweet little gifts for guests, a fun sticker patch, mini sparklers for late night celebrations and rose hard candies.

To complete the set I used Cylinder Champagne Flutes with a Gold Foiled Striped Straw, red-colored wine glasses and Clear Stemless Plastic Wine Glasses with metallic gold painted bottoms as water glasses.

A Romantic Backdrop:

Even a smaller, more intimate bridal shower deserves a beautiful, elegant backdrop display. I loved using several of these on-trend geometric heart panels to create a unique, contemporary backdrop. Create the same look with a beautiful watercolor effect by using my DIY Watercolor Hearts Backdrop tutorial.

I paired this backdrop with a lush floral wall, incorporating a touch of cream, peach, and blush into the red and pink color palette to emphasize the soft, romantic color palette of the watercolor panels. I created this wall by using a grid wall panel and threading florals into the wire squares. I used spray painted Extra Small Faux Flowers to fill the larger spaces, pairing them with a floral stem set, pink peonies, and other faux floral stems.

At the bottom of the wall I added a wood slate crate sprayed gold, more heart shaped rose petals and as many gorgeous pillar candles as I could fit!

Drinks & Desserts:

The backdrop was the perfect way to showcase the gold & lucite bar cart. A chic and modern alternative to display the cake and cocktails.

On top of the cart I displayed a simple, yet elegant naked cake with raspberries and carnations as a lush red topper.

To each side, I added the beverages I needed to create my Pink Champagne & Sorbet Cocktail.

On one side I paired these drinks with the super glamorous, Gold Confetti Shaker. On the other side, they were paired with a darling Gold Base Bud Vase filled with red carnations and a touch of humor, my "more champagne please" bell.

On the bottom of the bar cart, I filled the Tall White Ceramic Vase With Gold Top with florals and placed it in the center.

I added non-alcoholic beverages, another bud vase for spare straws and a Small Clear Bowl with Gold Texture Base filled with citrus garnishes.

Lastly, I added matches for lighting the candles later in the evening; the White Heart Jewelry Tray providing the sweetest place to put used matches.

Seating Your Guests:

The last touch to add to the bridal shower? An eye-catching way to direct guests to their seats as they arrive. Try this unique DIY Heart & Hoop Seating Chart yourself. I displayed the hoops on an edgy piece of pegboard which I placed on an elegant lucite easel. The lucite ties in with the bar cart and the transparency doesn't detract from the romantic backdrop.

Your guests will be swooning as they take their seats! Say yes to romance, hearts and every shade of dreamy red and pink!
