Geometric parties are one of my favorite trends. Though they are not new to the party seen, they certainly have staying power. Couple this geometric theme with a fun color palette and you have a perfect bridal shower in the making. We used iridescent gems, gold metallics, pink, black, and white to create this stunningly simple bridal shower. The hardest and most time-consuming part was our geometric hanging backdrop, but it was totally worth it. Check out how to create your own geometric party below.
Let's start with the hardest part first. Take these Hot Pink Triangle Favor Boxes and Black Triangle Favor Boxes and spend some time assembling them. Then take your Surebonder® Low Temperature Mini Glue Gun and a handful of Surebonder® Low Temperature Mini Glue Gun and glue the boxes together forming a diamond shape. Next, I took a medium weight fishing line and started tying them all together. Simply vary the pattern and the spacing and you will have a beautiful hanging geometric backdrop.
Cupcakes are a super easy dessert to serve at your next party! I called my local bakery and asked for one dozen chocolate cupcakes with white frosting. Plus, these were under $10 for the whole dozen! Just make sure you ask for no decorations. You might even have to explain yourself! I had to tell the bakery that I was going to have my guests decorated their own cupcakes. I thought it would be fun for the guests to add their own sprinkles! I created my own custom sprinkle mix with colors from my color palette. Then I filled these Diamond-Shaped Boxes and placed them on the cake stand and around the table. It's clearly more sprinkles than you would ever need for your cupcake, but they were the perfect little container.
Another fun idea is to add your custom sprinkle mix to these Wedding Ring Shot Glasses. Give your guests a "shot" of sprinkles to add to their cupcake. My kids are always so excited when they get a cupcake topper with a plastic ring on it. Hey, I bet adults would like it too, right? I know alcohol infused cupcakes are super popular right now. I am sure you could come up with a creative way to add alcohol to these rings.
You can't go wrong adding iridescent geometric details throughout your party! I had a bunch of supplies left over from my Gem Stir Sticks, so I decided to use the same method to create these Gem Cupcake Toppers. Though they are not edible, they are very irresistible.
Our Iridescent Gem Serving Tray took center stage on our table. It was really easy to make and is a total show stopper. Make sure you check out the full tutorial to make your own tray.
When the tray was complete, we added these Premium Clear Square Plastic Tumblers and filled them to the brim with vanilla meringues. This is an easy way for guests to grab-and-go their favorite sweet treat.
Sticking with our geometric theme, we added this perfect American Crafts™ Geometric Heart Watercolor Panel to our dessert table. Simply place it on a Tabletop Easel. We added "Bride to be" in black vinyl letters, but you could easily stencil on your own saying. We even selected a fun geometric font!
Why not display your flatware? These Premium Gold Metallic Forks and to pretty to be hidden away somewhere. Throw them in a clear vessel and display them on the table as part of your party decor. This also makes them easily accessible to your guests too!
I am obsessed with these Black Patterned Plastic Wine Glasses. Did you know that Oriental Trading offers these in several other colors? They are one of my go-to glasses. They are plastic, durable, and the prettiest little wine glasses that I've ever seen! Mix up your favorite cocktail and you are destined to have happy party guests.
Add one of these beautiful Gold Foil Striped Paper Straws and one of our DIY Gem Stir Sticks to the mix! This combination is truly incredible! Your guests won't want to throw these away!
Place your Champagne Jello Shots on a Clear Tray and add some crystal sugar sprinkles along with Clear Mini Appetizer Plastic Forks. Make sure you encourage your guests to eat these right away. They do start to melt and let me tell you, they don't look very pretty!
Send your guests home with a favor in these geometric White Wedding Favor Boxes. Just embellish them with a few scrapbook paper triangles and you will have the perfect little favor box.
Hope you are inspired to throw your own geometric bridal shower. Don't forget to check out our Champagne Jello Shot recipe, DIY Gem Stir Sticks, and our Iridescent Gem Serving Tray for more instructions and inspiration.
