Garden Baby Shower

This feminine shower features lots of pink, blush, yellow, and white flowers everywhere, from the backdrop to both party tables, all the way down to the cake and the edible flowers in beverages.

Garden Baby Shower Place Settings

Pretty place settings awaited each shower guest. Clear dessert plates blend into the large white scallop chargers. To add to the the floral garden theme of the baby shower, I created matching "Welcome little flower" decals that can be cut into a circle and placed under the clear dessert plate.

These free plate decal printables add such a custom look to the table. It's hard to believe that the gold utensils are plastic, especially when placed on light pink napkins.

One of my favorite parts of this shower is the pink Rose Water Lemonade we served with stunning edible flowers floating on top.

The patterned wine glasses look so chic and really show off those gorgeous edible flowers. Be sure to get the easy lemonade recipe that you can make in just five minutes!

A single silver dollar eucalyptus strand matches the greenery backdrop of the dessert table. These strands are a quick way to bring life to any tablescape and are cost-effective since they can be used again and again!

To add more color to the table, pink peonies, white peonies, peach roses, ivory roses, and yellow roses were all placed throughout the round leaves. Just pluck the flowers from their stems so that each one lays flat.

Real baby's breath are the perfect filler and add more variety and fullness to the garland.

Leaves and Floral Backdrop

The most stunning part of this garden baby shower is the natural green backdrop that is dotted with colorful flowers and white curtains on each side. It was actually very easy to make!

To create this look, start with green boxwood mats. Zip ties work perfectly in the back to bind the mats together. The backdrop is ziptied onto a metal backdrop stand to hold it all in place since the mats have a bit of heft to them.

More pink peonies, white peonies, peach roses, ivory roses, and yellow roses were added to the boxwood to give a feminine feel to the party and soften all the leaves. Remove each flower from its stem, then use a small piece of twine to tie it onto the plastic grid on the back of the boxwood squares.

Two layers of white gossamer frame and soften each side of the boxwood backdrop that is hung like curtains. A bay leaf branch clipped to each side hold the gossamer curtains, and look so pretty with a flower bud or two tucked inside each branch.

The Dessert Table

It just wouldn't be a party without cake, and a gorgeous ombre pink watercolor cake with brushed gold accents certainly provides the wow factor on the dessert table!

A large pink peony makes the perfect cake topper with a little fondant underneath to hold it in place.

More real baby's breath around the base of the cake makes the dessert complete!

A bouquet of pink, white, and blush flowers sat on each side of the table in gold and white ceramic vases. Two small gold-rimmed dessert stands were on each side of the cake holding a party game and some creative party favors.
