It doesn't get much better than a night in with your best gal pals! With minimal effort you can create a cute space for you and your BFFs to hang out and enjoy Valentine's Day.

Let's talk about the decor first, shall we? It's really so simple! This is a wine party, after all, so why not incorporate wine into the decor? Wine bottles arranged on the mantel flow perfectly with the vibe of the party, and look really nice mixed in with tissue paper decor. I just randomly arranged Light Pink Diamond Tissue Paper Hanging Decorations, Red Tissue Balls, and Gold Glitter & White Tissue Balls around the wine bottles to soften the look and add color. What I love most about the tissue paper decorations is how cost-effective they are. You can get up to a dozen pieces in each pack, so you get a lot of impact for cheap. Gotta love that!
To create the "XOXO" backdrop, I just wrapped a canvas that was already hanging on the wall with some white and gold wrapping paper. I then painted the letters onto it with some black acrylic paint. This is a nifty trick if you'd like to just use what you already have. If you don't happen to have a canvas like I did, you can just use a large piece of cardboard and wrap it.
To round out the mantel decor I created a cute little DIY Heart Tassel Garland. The Gold Tassel Garland is cute, but I wanted to jazz it up a bit to fit the occasion. With a little bit of paint, DIY Unfinished Wood Heart Cutouts were transformed into just the right finishing touch for an adorable Galentine's Day Banner. Those pretty, affordable tissue decorations that were used on the mantel made their way onto our shelves as well. With the addition of some LED Warm White Mini String Lights and Gold Geometric Terrarium Candle Holders, the shelves had just the "wow" factor that they needed.

The bottom shelves were used to display luscious desserts, and of course, more wine! A Clear Acrylic Sign helped balance the color on the shelves and displayed the theme of the celebration. I just added paint and vinyl lettering to the sign to customize it for our get together! Candles glowing in Gold-Flecked Mercury Votive Holders added to the ambiance.

I couldn't pass up this Love Bottle Stopper for the party. It's just so perfect for the theme! These would also be great to pass out as party favors.

Now, let's talk about those gorgeous desserts! Don't they look amazing?! The best part about them is that they taste as delicious as they look! Get the recipe for these incredible Mini Berry Chocolate Drip Cakes here.
To really showcase these sweet treats, place each one on top of a Gold-Flecked Mercury Votive Holder, center them all on a long tray, then surround with fresh flowers. The result is stunning!

Fresh flowers tucked inside a Wide White Ceramic Vase and balloons floating in the air rounded out the decor and helped tie the space together. The red balloon in the corner is actually a giant 3-foot Heart Balloon! The Gold Heart Black & White Latex Balloons danced around the giant heart balloon and were a cost-effective way to fill the empty corner behind the chair.

I don't know about you, but whenever I hang out with my gal pals, we're usually munching and drinking, so this Galentine's Day Party was a total hit! To keep the cozy vibe, I moved our coffee table over near the fire, set it with some pretty tableware, and filled it all with yummy treats. I cut a strip of the wrapping paper that I made the "XOXO" sign with, and used it as a table runner.

All of the goodies that go well with wine (cheese, fruit and crackers) were all arranged inside a DIY Large Wood Tray that I painted black. Consider lining the bottom of the tray with plastic wrap or parchment paper so that the tray is food safe.

White popcorn stood right out against red Nesting Heart Trays. Cookies, peppermint bark, and nuts were also served, and looked pretty on White & Gold Foil Polka Dot Paper Dessert Plates that matched the party decor.

These "Wine is My Valentine" napkins are actually what inspired this Galentine's Day Wine Party in the first place! Aren't they so fun?! I guess you never know what's going to inspire you! Anyway, they look like they were meant to be paired with these beautiful White with Gold Foil Dot Paper Dinner Plates. So pretty!

While we're talking about paper plates and napkins, now would be a good time to mention that I hate to have a bunch of dishes to wash after a party. That said, when I saw these Wavy Stemless Plastic Wine Glasses I nearly squealed with delight! You can absolutely wash them and reuse them, but if you don't wanna wash, you don't have to!
Since we're looking at that pretty wine glass, let's talk about what it's sitting on. That, my friends, is a coaster made out of bottle corks! Ideal for a wine-themed celebration, right? Get the easy DIY for these Wine Cork Coasters here.

And that's a wrap, folks! I hope you've been inspired to create a Galentine's Wine Party of your own! Have a blast hanging with your best gal pals, and make some fun memories. Happy Galentine's Day, and CHEERS!
