November is my absolute favorite month! I love the weather, the excitement of the upcoming holidays, and it doesn't hurt that it's my anniversary month too!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I love food...and most of the time I love spending time with family! Friends are the family you pick though, and having a Friendsgiving Party each year has been one of our traditions. We always throw our Friendsgiving Party early in November, so as not to interfere with the other holiday plans.
For food, we ask our frinds to just bring side dishes or desserts to keep us full while and we sit around and talk. It's a good, stress-free time to test out the recipes we want to use for Thanksgiving. Most of the night is full of laughter, playing games and eating delicious food!
The theme this year is a "pie tasting party." Everyone brings a pie to share, then loads up a plate with delicious slices of pie. Set up a small coffee or hot cocoa bar to go with it and prepare to have a night of fun!
