Foxy Mama Baby Shower

Foxy Mama Baby Shower

What better way to shower a mama-to-be in the fall than with a foxy mama themed brunch? Beautiful colors of coral, light pink and yellow, paired with the rustic wood tones and burlap make for a stunning woodland setting. The foxy mama herself is sure to be smitten with the DIY elements that she can take home to adorn her foxy baby's nursery walls after the shower ends!

Upon entering the room guests will feel as though they have entered a woodland wonderland thanks to the gorgeous fall color palette. A DIY Boho Wall Hanging and Fox Baby Mobile hang behind the brunch display and provide a bit of eye candy to the whole space.

The wall hanging was created with both small and large natural cording and was embellished with faux peonies, eucalyptus, greenery and pinecones. Not only is it a beautiful decoration for the party, but would also look dreamy hanging in the foxy baby's nursery. You can find the full tutorial to create your own here.

Everything looks even more darling with a pretty pink bow on it and this Fox Baby Mobile is no exception. I can just picture the new babe looking up at the sweet fox faces and cooing over the cuteness. The painted acorns and pinecones added to the woodland feel. The tutorial can be found here.

I used this fox that I found at a thrift store in the center of the dining table to help bring the theme to life. Feel free to use something that you already own or go thrifting for the perfect centerpiece.

Wearing a crown made from faux floral greenery and surrounded by painted acorns, pinecones and moss, the foxy mama looked right at home nestled in her rustic antique bread bowl.

Flameless candles were wrapped with jute twine and sat atop small round birch pillars. A fox was cut from coral scrapbook paper and attached with a glue dot. You can find the fox template here. Mason jars that sat atop medium birch centerpieces were also wrapped with twine and were filled with beautiful blooms to brighten the table. Download the Free Foxy Mama Printables here!

A table runner, made from faux eucalyptus, lined the center of the table for an extra touch.

I love to layer plates for added interest and an additional way to bring in more color to the dining table. The coral dessert plates popped off the light pink square dinner plates, which sat atop burlap chargers. Coral dinner napkins provided a pretty base for the yellow cloth napkins that were layered on top.

Gold metallic cutlery was tied up with pretty pink ribbon and looked fancy sitting at each place setting. Mason jars were used as drinking glasses and each received a daisy lid, which had been painted yellow. A painted pinecone was tied around each jar with twine and a orange striped straw was added for good measure.

Fox cutouts were added to a pinecone to act as a place card at each place setting. All new mamas welcome sage words of wisdom from their wise friends, so advice cards were placed at each seat. You can download the free printable Foxy Mama Advice Cards here.

As the shower comes to an end, be sure to send your guests home with a parting gift. Cellophane bags filled with yummy granola and tied with a pink ribbon and fox thank you tag looked positively adorable nestled inside berry baskets full of pink and yellow tissue paper. The cuteness factor was taken up a notch thanks to the addition of the pink ribbon wrapped around the basket and a fox cutout attached. You can download the free printable fox thank you tags here.
